On September 24,1996 at around 12:00 A.M Wayne Mckenzie Sr and Carla Huffstead recived their little bundle of joy. They would decided to name him Wayne Mckenzie Jr, and from then on a star was born. Music was always in Wayne (Mykie B) Mckenzie Jr's blood. Mykie B's father was a record engineer who worked for the likes of Fred Locks and Shelly Thunder just to name a few. Wayne decided he wanted to be a D.J at 10 years old. He decided to create a D.J name of Mykie B. Mykie B also created a sound system by the name of Black Chika International. Chika meaning " God is the Greatest" in African Swahilli. Mykie B first gig was a birthday party for his grandmother he wanted to make a name for himslef. Next up on his agenda was a block party with Mykie B's partner in crime African Pride Sounds. When Mykie B stood up to the Denon 3500's the entire block though that this was a fluke. It only took 20 minutes to show that Mykie B was here to stay. Most recently, Mykie B teamed up with Dj Snake Eye to do a birthday party for his cousin. " I would love to own my own radio station one day" Mykie B states. Mykie B is one of the few D.Js that will work for small amounts.Wayne is also an excellent scholar who is on the honor roll at school and is a supreb soccer player.
