Our generation has a lot on its plate and we're always looking for the best ways to bring change into the world.  One of the strongest ways to make this happen is responsible consumption.  Where you spend your money can impact the environment, social movements, local communities and even elections! We explore what is means to consumer responsibly on this week's episode of Twenty Somethings Podcast. 

In the 1950s, the average parents were 24 years old.  Now, they're in their early 30s.  In honor of father's day, on today's episode of Twenty Somethings podcast, we're exploring why twenty somethings are now waiting to have kids until their 30s.  We discuss the causes of this phenomenon, the pros and cons of the decision, and some of the wider societal implications.   Topics covered include: women's rights, the development of birth control, the rising price of education, salaries of twenty something year olds, the modern cost of raising children

In the midst of a pandemic, a climate crisis, and an otherwise rapid changing 21st century, we have one question: where are all the experts?! On this week's episode, Keith and Grant discuss how the advocacy and immediacy of climate change and the current global climate crisis might actually backfire in terms of true progress made. The holidays are supposed to be the happiest time of year, but sometimes they can be a hard time for people remembering the lives of loved ones and facing past traumas. Baby Boomers and Generation X'ers between the ages of 25 and 34 were owning houses at a rate of almost 50% during their heyday. Millennials, however, are owning houses at a rate of 37% in the same age gap. Why are millennials owning houses at such a slower pace, and what does that mean for the future of housing?
