Two Girls, One Small Town, hosted by Jeannie Caldwell and Katie Dillon, who love to chat about their favorite town of Rangely, Colorado. Rangely aka "Small Town USA" is a rural community located in the heart of NW Colorado. Come listen as they interview locals about the history of the town, fun happenings and outdoor recreation opportunities. The locals are colorful, comedic and sincere. Old, young and in between will find their laughter and stories contagious!

Most Rangely residents know if you talk about "Bulia" who you are talking about....Amorette Hawkins. Amorette is a very beloved member of the community. She is the Director of the Rangely Regional Library and her family has been a staple of the community since homesteading close by. Her life is filled with love for the community and her family! She is a lot of fun to listen to. We hope she comes back for another Podcast real soon!
This was probably one of our favorite interviews of all time. Jim Steele turned 90 years old on the 30th of October. Happy Birthday Jim!

Jarrod is an awesome young man with a lot of interests and talents. We really enjoyed our conversation with him. Today we were privileged to have Alli Armstrong Vaughan, with Grace Camo & Lace, on the podcast. Alli co-hosts the show with her Sister Adrianna. Alli is a from a very small town in Illinois with a population of about 300. She has been hunting with her Dad and Grandpa since she was five years. Listen in as she tells her story. We recently had the opportunity to interview "Big Mike," from Big Mike's Pork N Wings. Big Mike's has decided to be in Rangely more often and has actually opened up a location with indoor seating and will offer outdoor seating when the weather is nice. He will still smoke his meat and cook from his very large food truck, which has industrial size equipment inside, but will make sure if you want to dine in, then it is readily available!

Zach Stevenson stopped by today and we had an awesome conversation! Zach, who played baseball for Colorado Northwestern Community (CNCC) from 2011 to 2013, is the new Athletic Director for CNCC. Zach and his family love the Rangely community and are so excited to be back in town! His story is a great one! You must check it out! Today's Podcast features Sarah Hepworth, who is the new Principal at Rangely Junior/Senior High School. Sarah moved to Rangely from Craig, Colorado. She graduated high school from Rock Springs High School in Rock Springs, Wyoming. She studied Elementary Education at University of Wyoming, Early Childhood Special Education at University of Northern Colorado and Education Leadership at Mesa State College. Her education in combination with years of experience will prove to be a tremendous asset to our schools as well as our community.
Ms. Hepworth loves Rangely and looks forward to meeting all the students in town! Be sure to provide her with a warm welcome if you see her around town!

He was an oilfield worker as well as a company owner in the community. Sam is known for his love of Rangely, generosity towards the community, understanding of the oil and gas industry as well as his conservative values. Listen in as he discusses his love of Rangely as well as his views on the community.

Dana resides in Grand Junction, Colorado and her position in Amtgard is Baroness of Phoenix Rise. Nic is a resident of Rangely, Colorado and is the Sheriff of Yggdrasil's Oasis.

We enjoyed chatting with Regas Halandras, who is running for Rio Blanco County Commissioner in District 3. This is the District that Ty Gates currently serves. Ty will not be running for re-election. Regas is running for the Republican nomination against Callie Scritchfield. The election will be held on June 25th.
Regas is a Rio Blanco County native. He currently lives in Meeker, Colorado. He has served on various boards and actually served as the Mayor of Meeker for a time.

We had the the pleasure of chatting with Callie (Hendrickson) Scritchfield, who is running for Rio Blanco County Commissioner in District 3. This is the District that Ty Gates currently serves. Ty will not be running for re-election.
Callie had a lot to share about growing up in a rural community, her commitment to the County, as well as her career, which I will say was impressive.
Per Callie, "My career has been diverse, including being a professional cutting and reining horse trainer, a high school business teacher, an ag loan officer, a state-wide non-profit executive director, and for the last 13 years, I've worked for the landowners of Rio Blanco County as the Executive Director of the White River & Douglas Creek Conservation Districts. I'm proud to call Rio Blanco County home and welcome questions now and in the future."
