The Jons are joined by the legend Tom Scharpling for a rightless romp on some rousing roads. Scharpling is great on the mic, and has recently been proudly sponsored by Shure, having cut his teeth on SM7Bs from New Jersey to LA. Ouch! The boys cover everything. No stones are left U-turned. You’ll see how the sausage is made and then how it’s baked into an amazing information-calzone you can take an exclusive bite of. Enjoy!

Scott Aukerman, Comedian, Podcaster, Comedic Podcaster, Comedy Bang Bang, Comedy Bang Bang TV Show, and now a spin with the 2 Jons boys. this guy's done it all. A "white whale" of sorts to the Jons, Scott's reputation preceeds him ("by about 11 inches." - Milton Burl on SNL ) and Scott delivers like a pro, weaving his way through the conversation as the Jons weave through traffic, and after all that weaving, what's 'left' is a basket... of dicks! Just Kidding! Of fun!

Islands has a new record out called "What Occurs" and Islands lead singer Nick Thorburn couldn't be more stoked to release it Friday June 21st.
Lead singer Nick Thorburn leans against the jet black wall of LA's "Club Zebulon" and languidly sips his White Claw spritzer.
"I love the new record. It's called "What Occurs"" he offers, blue eyes piercing through the hazy dimness of the hipster mecca.
"But the thing is, I spent dozens of hours on this album, I put my friends on it, we collabed on it, it was a beautiful experience putting it together, but here's the thing - A.I. might do a better job than bands."
Nick pours himself into a booth at the back of the bar and slides all the way back, like a greased up newborn, to the booth jukebox, where he shuffles through potential selections with his nimble fingers.
"The Doors, Bon Jovi, John Cale, Paula Abdul. All the new music sucks" he sputters as he snaps his fingers for a waiter.
"Garcon! I'm about to spill!"
The server makes their way over as Nick, like a petulant little puck, pours his White Claw spritzer all over the table.
"Want a tip, lady? Don't buy no Brooklyn Bridges!"
Nick stands and starts "flossing".
"My s$$%t blows all that s%^&t out of the water!"
All of Club Zebulon is now looking at Nick.
"But me and Jon went on a roadtrip and man... AI might just be better than bandssssss!"
Nick gyrates like Weiland at a sock-hop.
"... I don't care what Jon says, and how good AI writes songs about the 2 Jons Podcast in many genres, it may be better, but can it do THISSSSSS????
Nick smacks the jukebox with his light blue loafer.
"Johnny Be Good" comes to life and Nick starts Twisting! And then all of Zeb starts Twisting!
"This is just like Back To The Future! With Doc Brown, Marty and the Mom? Weeeeeeeeeeee!"
Nick pulls out copies of What Occurs and starts tossing them out like a frisbee golfer on PCP.
"One hundred Twenty One Giga-What-Occurs Martyyyyy!"
Islands' What Occurs'
11/10 Perfect Record
L.A. Native Haley Joel Osment hops in the FARTVAN and talks to the Jons about being Kendrick Lamar's newest muse, being confused with evil preacher Joel Osteen, and starring in AI when he was a kid. 10/10.

Double Jons, Double Sklars, forming like Voltron with the Fartvan as the head! Is it a double match made in Double Heaven or double Hell!? The very funny stand-up Mike Glazer hops in the Fartvan to evangelize West Hollywood with The Jons, and man, I think I'm convinced. I've never heard anyone truly enjoy WeHo, unapologetically, this much. I lived there myself, I had a hard time! Mike's clearly thrivin' and I'm truly jealous. They should pay him for this podcast!
The hilarious Ron Funches hops in the Fartvan to dish: where's the best place to visit in Japan, who was the funniest DIY comic in Portland in the aughts, and a heartwarming story about how Daly himself welcomed Ron to LA. BONUS: Bill Cosby Bukowski update.
The voice you know by heart, Brian Huskey hops in the van and the world itself begins to unravel around it. Chaos in the streets, mishaps during the coffee run, all the while attempting to outrun the long shadow of IBS. Huskey's voice is so prolific, It's hard not to feel at home listening to him chop it up with the Jons. Kick your feet up and enjoy some AAA level pipes.
Redd Kross and Current Melvins’ Steven McDonald is a foundational part of LA's punk scene, and a brilliant songwriter and guitar player. Redd Cross’s new Double Album, “Self-Titled Album” kicks ass, and Steven was generous enough to give The Jons an early listen. The album soars to heights untold. Held together with harmonies Steven and his brother Jeff McDonald blend together so solidly it allows the band to explore the entire matrix of rock music and yet, remain Redd Cross. The album has many twists and turns, not unlike the twists and literal turns this episode of Two Jons Takes. Like no other episode before it: it contains driver-swaps, spontaneous hitchhiker pickups, and Steven eventually taking the wheel of the FARTVAN(!) and yet it is all held together with a beautiful tapestry of lefts, and no rights. Truly a groundbreaking episode.

Another installment of Two Jons CLASSIX!
Comedic genius and flaw focusser John Gemberling joins the Jons for a no-rights, all lefts drive and is a bigtime Ned Nitpicker, challenging the Jons' grasp of their one sacred rule at every curve! The Jons stand their ground, but are audibly shaken (not stirred)! And the rest, as we say Mr. Bond, is Two Jons history and will forever be canon to the lore.
An extremely funny Jersey roughneck, Kevin Seccia is thrilled to hang on his favorite podcast, and it shows! The Jons are so emboldened by Kevin's powerful vibes that they... and I can't believe I'm saying this... actually dip into North Hollywood. The stories are gripping this episode, and what's even better: they NAME NAMES. Extremely famous people be cautioned; you may just be put on full-blown-blast in the Fartvan this week. You've been warned...
We hope you like drums, drummers, music and thoughtful takes on Phil Collins because the über talented Joe Wong Wipeout-Intros his way into the Fartvan with The Jons. Also if you have a horse in the race for BDOAT (Best Drummer of All Time) buckle up, because this discouse gets SPICY. Joe's new record "Mere Survival" kicks major ass and his podcast "The Trap Set" is a wonderful and ultra-comprehensive document of our greatest living musicians. Please check it all out, and while you're at it, check out the absolutely immense library of music Joe is responsible for. You will not regret it!
The fabulously accomplished Jane Marie hops in the van with an agenda folks. Never before have we seen such wanton chutzpah from a guest, and the Jons are just eating it up. Watch in wonder as our Jons are put to actual work, double and triple tasking full-blown missions. All the while dishing guests, fetching quests, and turning lefts.
Visceral madcap fun episode this week with the hilarious Ben Rodgers! We're back in Hollywood and the freaks are out. The boys visit many failed businesses, dilapidated hotels, and hotspots of yesteryear - now doomed and collapsing. The stories flow like wine; the queue of memories is long and fat. Classic yarns followed by jaw-dropping anecdotes. It's got everything you love from our Jons. Right?
Director of "Barbarian", and Whitest Kids You Know alum Zach Cregger hops in the Fartvan to confess his sins. Daly and "Cregger" have so many visceral stories from their time in New York, that the Jons have no idea where in Los Angeles they are at any point in this episode. The conversation is just that good, and it soars ahead of the traffic lights. But no rights!
