Justin Kidd

Justin Kidd hails from a small, rural farming community in southeast Idaho, where his passion for technology and innovation began to take root at an early age. As a teenager, he discovered an interest in electronics and personal computers, leveraging programs like 4-H and the Boy Scouts of America to gain hands-on experience in electronics technology and computer programming. By the time Justin was a sophomore in high school, his aptitude for technology earned him his first teaching opportunity. The high school he attended enlisted him as a student teacher, allowing him to lead computer programming classes for upperclassmen. At just 15 years old, Justin published his first complete software package—a bootable password security program operating in DOS—marking the start of his remarkable journey in technology and innovation. During his later high school years, Justin pursued various ambitious projects, including filing for his first U.S. patent, designing and building electronic circuits, and creating software in multiple programming languages. It was also during this time that he came to know the Lord, Jesus Christ, embracing a life of faith and recognizing God as the foundation of all his beliefs and actions—the chief physicist and perfecter of all creation. In 1996, Justin relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, to attend DeVry Institute of Technology and study electronics engineering. That same year, he embarked on a career as a wildland firefighter, a role he held for nearly two and a half decades. As a firefighter, Justin developed and refined his teaching skills, instructing hundreds of wildland fire training courses and educating thousands of firefighters in the fundamentals of their craft. His travels during this period brought him into contact with countless individuals who left lasting impressions on his life and work. After retiring from firefighting, Justin returned to academia to pursue a degree in physics. Through his studies, he developed a deep interest in magnetism and electrical generation systems, which became the focus of his subsequent work. He founded an independent research facility dedicated to alternative energy and innovative engineering projects. Over the years, Justin has filed numerous patents and developed products that leverage unique applications of permanent magnet technology. Among his most significant achievements are advancements in magnetic induction and the discovery of the correct geometry of magnetic fields. One of his pioneering innovations, referred to as Coupled Induction Processes, has opened new possibilities in energy generation and efficiency. Justin continues to reside in eastern Idaho, where he operates his research facility and works on concluding current projects while exploring new avenues of discovery. His unwavering dedication to innovation, education, and faith ensures that his contributions to science and technology will leave a lasting legacy.
