As a mom and a more "evolved young lady," she admits there are certain things she would never do again.  Joy and Taylor open up about their past experiences, from partying too hard and getting regrettable tattoos to having low dating standards and making stubborn business decisions. They touch on some pretty deep topics like self-discovery, personal growth, and the importance of seeking help and advice.  New episodes of the show drop every Wednesday on YouTube, and you can catch the audio version on all major podcast platforms. Joy and Taylor are back in the studio for another episode of Two Personal and they start off with a candid conversation on the auntie label. The term “auntie” has evolved from a woman with nieces and nephews, to simply…an older woman. But has this evolution only invited more age-related stereotypes of women? And if that doesn’t get your mind churning, what are your thoughts on TSA and the advancements that have been made to verify your identification? Taylor has a few thoughts and she shares why she has yet to sign up for CLEAR or TSA Pre-check.  And saving the best note for last, Two Personal welcomes its very first guest on the show! Grammy-award-winning artist Coco Jones joins the show to discuss Beyonce’s ground-breaking country album, Cowboy Carter, and the concept of overcoming limiting beliefs. They explore the importance of being true to oneself and embracing multiple passions, even in the face of societal expectations. And the girls invite Coco to respond to a fan voice note, and let’s just say, Geminis, we come in peace.
The internet has been going crazy these last few weeks, with wild claims circulating the internet about Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales. Even after Middleton’s public statement regarding her diagnosis, the conspiracy theories have continued. Joy and Taylor share their thoughts on Middleton's news and the issue with hypothetical discussions.  The main topic of the episode is something we've all dealt with - how to work with someone you don't like. Joy and Taylor share their thoughts on setting boundaries, the difference between disliking someone and hating them, and why honesty is key to any relationship. They also talk about navigating conflicts and finding a compromise to keep things running smoothly.
We hope you had a good night’s rest because today’s episode requires your full attention. Joy and Taylor start with the show with their thoughts on dating reality shows, from Love is Blind to The Bachelorette, and which one they would have the most success at finding love. They also discuss the importance of attraction and height preferences in relationships, and Joy’s answer may surprise you. Finally, please raise your hand if you were today’s years old when you learned Mariska Hargitay is a nepo baby. Many people had no clue that the beloved Detective Benson from Law & Order: SVU is the daughter of Actress Jayne Mansfield with her husband Mickey Hargitay. Well, get ready for more surprises as Joy and Taylor explore the topic of nepotism, their family tree, and how it has influenced their lives. The conversation delves into the impact of privilege and the role of luck in achieving success. How has it made them feel? Are they uncomfortable with their advantages in life? It’s time to get personal.
You're gonna wanna sit down for this week's episode. Joy and Taylor have a passionate conversation about the public's obsession with celebrity pregnancies and the invasion of privacy that comes with it. This conversation was sparked by the social media responses to a few celebrities including Halle Bailey admitting why she kept her pregnancy a secret, Meghan Markle reflecting on the bullying she received while pregnant, and people searching for Vanessa Hudgens' baby daddy after she revealed her baby bump on the Oscars Red Carpet, not realizing she's actually married. Throughout the conversation, Joy and Taylor explore the pressure and expectations surrounding pregnancy, the politics and hypocrisy surrounding motherhood, and the need to support and protect pregnant women.
