Helping you find a job and life you love. Figuring out what to do with your life ain’t easy. Should I change jobs? What job would I change to? Should I go back to Uni? Where should I live? This is especially true for people in their 20s and 30s. It can be a bit of a quarter life crisis. I know so many people who are questioning what they are doing and considering a change. They picked a uni course out of school which led straight to a graduate role, but know they’re wondering if that’s really what they want to do for the rest of their lives. I’ve spent days and nights grappling with the same questions. I still do. This podcast hopes to help you answer some of those questions. We give you a real life view into a wide range of careers and lifestyles. You’ll hear from nanny’s, investment bankers, coders, online coaches, real estate developers, designers, marketing agency owners, sales people, teachers and more. You’ll hear about their day to day job - the real insights into what their lifestlye is like what they hate and what they love and even how money they make. Starting a Business to Build a Life of Freedom | Chanel Venter - EP28

EP28 with Chanel Venter, Founder of Magnify In 2019, Chanel was working in a corporate job in hospitality. By all accounts she was a high achiever and had received multiple promotions in her work. But she found that with each promotion, the high would quickly wear off and she would be left feeling pretty dissatisfied with her role. She wanted more freedom in her life and started to think of ways she could make that happen... Fast forward 4 years and Chanel is the Founder and Managing Director of a very successful business providing mystery shopping in the hospitality industry. Chanel has doubled the revenues of the business each year business, and has grown her team to 5 people, providing services to some of the top hospitality brands in mutiple countries. But perhaps more importantly, Chanel has achieved her goal of creating a life of freedom for herself. She lives in Bali where she works remotely amd has complete control over how and where she spends her time. Although this is a great story of someone creating a life they love, Chanel will be the first to say that it's been a total roller coaster. We talk about all the highs and lows of this journey and what she has learned about herself along the way,.
