Special guest episode today we have our friend Adriana aka @drinoculars on the pod!! Adriana is an athlete / cook here in Chicago she has worked with brands like Under Armour, Nike, Don Julio and so many more! This episode starts off as a Jack Black appreciation show we then get some great advice from Adriana with Squareds big marathon coming up on how he can prepare for a good run, hopefully no chaffing nips and falling toe nails. Jason is back from Hawaii still feeling the effects from Rex's bachelors trip and had to deal with someone almost touching him with her feet on the flight. Pablo watched Ralph Barbosa on the same night as Mr. February's birthday celebration, Squared had a great bday from what he can remember! The guys try to recall how we first met Adriana but come up short, they all just kind of knew each other from OG Twitter & IG, seeing eachother from social media this is actually the first time sitting down with Adriana but it felt like they been friends for years! Adriana has always been pretty active but these recent years she randomly decided to run marathons with no training or experience, her mentality is super inspiring you can tell she can do anything she puts her mind to. At the moment she's working on creating her own cook book, we discuss the difficulty because she considers herself an "eyeball cook" and putting the recipes down on paper is tough. This process led her to reaching out for help with content and capturing her dishes for the general public, we talk about the importance of asking for help and reaching out. You might have seen Adriana on Black Ink Chicago, we get a little insight on what it's like to be on the set of these reality TV shows and what was really real. ANYONE CAN GET IT ON BRO Chocolate Ding Dongs for snack time! We talk about the risky actions that some of these rappers, Drake, 21 Savage, Play Boy Carti. Vision Pro just dropped we give our opinions seems like no one wants one except Pablo. Riot Fest and Summer festivals in general are always around the corner we get Adrianas experiences and her favorite type of music. How do we deal with grief and helping others that might be going through something, sometimes saying less is more.. Darwin is back! it's been too long since we last had him on the pod episode 13 we covered a lot of who Darwin is and what he does, but this time just felt more frndly where the guys could really talk their shit. Jason is trying to get back into the swing of things he has some new tees that might need a second dye job, Squared booked the Chicago Marathon and has been exercising frequently as well as cutting back on eating bad. Pablo is a proud basketball Dad his son started in a kid's league, we react to his son's first basket of the season. Since the last episode Darwin has formed a collective called "the suburban kids" they threw their first listening party back in the old studio and have performed for the windy city bulls, so much more happens in this episode it's hard to sum it all up the best way to hear everything is to listen all the way through we appreciate you for your time, your support and more importantly for being friendly!

We got Pierre Junior Guillaume on the pod! After taking some time since his last event Junior is back with a pop up next week at Blind Barber January 31st, he talks about how the opportunity came about and what can be expected at the event. Pablo has been busy shooting for his clothing brand and just came off an amazing collaboration with Novel Pizza you can check out that recap on his youtube. Rex celebrates his one year anniversary being married and is adjusting to the new year. Squared caught a cold prior to this episode and Jason had a funeral so they couldn't make it to this episode but more reason to have a part 2! We talk about consistency alot in this episode, Pierre feels he has been focusing on alot of pants and outerwear but wants to pivot to making more tshirts that more people can wear. Touch on his early years of designing for a brand he had with his old friends and how that led him to creat Subtle Garments. Snack time is some BBQ Takis called "Chippz" that no one has ever heard of and Pablo puts us on to a Colombian drink "Refajo". Jax is back! our first returning guest we had to run it back for season 4! Jackie is an event coordinator, tour/ project manager for the biggest all girl party in the world "Sorry Papi". Pablo and Jason relate on how they made a mistake at work but Squared has been enjoying some time off. Jackie explains how different how schedule is now and how she manages her busy schedule. We go through her favorite venue locations and one place she loves so much she even lives there in the winter. When she first came on they were barley about to do their first show fastforward to 2023 they are on their 80/90 th show and she has to make sure they all run smoothly. We talk about what has changed for her and us since the last time she was on USRFRNDLY (check out episode 6) , back then Jackie was pushing her own brand Splax by Jax where she hand crafted tye dye and sold her clothing but her job has gotten so busy she put it on hold plus it was getting too messy! Jackie tells us about her celebrity experiences and how she works being starstruck. SEASON 4 PREMiER! A lot has changed for all of us since the last time we dropped; Pablo has a new baby he talks about what it's like to be a father of 2. Squared has had some unexpected time off and enjoying every minute of it. Jason has hella jobs and just moved into a new place. Rex is traveling all over the world but getting back into the groove of dropping content. The guys get a little silly on this one, they talk about they are excited for in this new season, you can expect big names as always but also some returning guests. Some Noodles and Co. hate but only the Oakpark location apparently the guys weren't satisfied with their meals. When is too much weight too much, squatting advice and some bad experiences. Pablo spoiled Smallville for Squared is there an expiration date on a spoiler? There's alot of bird talk on this pod as well Jason got a new room mate and he came with a Cockatoo. Pablo tries Hello Fresh for the first time and gives his honest opinion, Squared knows prepackaged meals also he even gives em out sometimes! On this episode we sit down with one the most handsome men in Chicago, he does a little bit of everything but is still figuring out what his "thing" is, in the mean time why not get this money! Squared is fresh off the CMFY Market sorry Rello we taking over! As the world learns more about Squared's brand he's learning also how he can satisfy the overwhelming demand for CMFY FITTS. After 5 years of wearing Glasses Pablo decides to try contacts, anything to improve his performance he also is nearing the end of his braces arc, he recalls going to his first fashion show shout out Bre's (Friendly Bitch) for an amazing show. Rex has been enjoying some "Me" time while the "Mrs" is away, pampering himself nothing more important than self care! Chris give's us all the details on how he got to the position he's in now, from working at Wingstop, to Foot Locker, gaining retail experience eventually working for Joe Freshgoods right before the pandemic. Chris and Squared worked together back in 2015 at North Riverside "the mecca" of culture back in the day, they both share a passion for Streetwear and always have been up to date with all the latest brands. Now working at a corporate level Chris has learned so much about marketing and has been able to implement his knowledge to into Vanessa's company " Rolling Rosa" also USRFRNDLY pod alumnis he expresses his love for their brand. After modeling for a few brands including ADF ;Pablo & Squareds brand, Chris built a reputation as a model but he expresses why he never perused it seriously and only does it for friends. Overall the guys had a great time it's been rough lately with the gang's personal lives all over the place but this episode was a nice reminder of why we do this. We get a little tipsy, debate about the best italian ice, ice cream around and just have a great frndly time. Happy Monday frnds as always we bring you the best of the best, today is no different we have two of the best DJ's in the land you might have seen them at Cerise rooftop, Penny Whistle or your local pop up they always bring great energy. Lost in Kyoto! aka Genkai_the3rd and Joestar_thedj came to visit the pod and give us some insight on what it's like to be DJ's in Chicago and what it looks like to run a DJ business. They give their origin story all working at Apple the three friends found common interests musically and took their passion and started taking on gigs all over the city. Jason and Pablo are still recovering from a crazy Coachella experience, Squared has a hard time sympathizing with their pain since he was stuck in the chilly Chicago weather the rest of the gang was living it up in Palm Springs. Stick around to hear some of our Frank Ocean performance takes! We met LostinKyoto through Flthy Rich our last guest, they Dj'd one of his events and we continued to work with them ever since. They have always been anti-gatekeeping and assisted so many DJ's that came after them, it helps them learn and master their craft as well. We speak on how important packaging is for merchandise and art, it can really bring up your products price point. International FINE artist RIchard Ticas visits the podcast, he's well known in Chicago for his Anime art as well as collaborating with Kid Laroi, Juice WRLD and most recently Vandy the Pink. Rich explains his origin story as well as how his mother and her church feel about his provocative masterpieces.
