This episode contains a very enlightening interview with former U.S. Ambassador to Russia, John J. Sullivan (2020-2022). Amb. Sullivan opines w/resp to Putin's imperialist mindset, Russian goals in Europe, and NATO / USA's shortcomings & continued reluctance to stop the Russian steamroller advance against the West. Sullivan is an extremely brilliant & articulate advocate for increasing military support for Ukraine & action against Putin's RF. ref: "Midnight in Moscow" by JJ Sullivan

Terribly shocked when I read the Daily Telegraph on the 9th. I'd not appreciated what an incredible man David Knowles was. The testimonials from friends, colleagues, those that knew him and those that didn't, was truly moving. UTL must live in and grow stronger to honour David Knowles and all the Ukrainians and supporters who have lost their lives and lost so much because of this cruel, unnecessary war by the world's last and morally corrupt empire.

you just lost a listener de to you comments about Guterres. The UN, with it's large number of flaws, is clearly the best organism for addressing and resolving conflicts. I suppose you would prefer the British Empire to be in charge, right? You should also give a nuanced insight into the events in Russia. That the Western nations should allow Ukraine to attack Russia without qualms, and make use of all its arsenal, is a sinple minded approach that neglects to see the obvious danger of escalation
