First look at Jobright AI https://jobright.ai/ with its founder, Eric Cheng. It'll improve your resume, find you jobs, and much more.
Here is the latest from AIMI https://www.aimi.fm/. It is aimed more toward developers and music professionals than, say, Suno or Udio. Check out the demo, which starts about 33 minutes into this interview with founder Edward Balassanian. In it he shows that you can import a video that has no audio and it makes both a voice over and the music to match the content. This leads to very personalized video. If you are in India, you might get a bollywood track, all aligned to the video. In US a viewer might get served with something closer to the Rolling Stones. This is a huge trend that's just starting. Hollywood is funding another company, Corto AI, that will do this for movies and already is doing similar for advertisers (it launches next year). Just mind blowing stuff that makes creating videos with music backgrounds so much easier.
Aiswarya Sankar, founder of https://entelligence.ai/ which makes an AI-based engineering mentor, talks with host Robert Scoble about her company and gives us a demo.
Work is about to radically change with this new AI-driven spreadsheet tool, being shown for first time today: https://www.paradigmai.com/ Here cofounder/CEO, Anna Monaco, reveals its power to do things Microsoft Excel can't dream of doing, and gives host Robert Scoble a demo.
How will humans get superpowers? Well, Sherylle Calder, founder of EyeGym, https://eyegym.com/ , works miracles with professional athletes with technology. I heard about this South African miracle worker years ago (the owner of the South African cycling team told me he "fixed" an athlete on his team who had a high rate of falls). Her technology exercises their perception systems and fixes problems they have in properly perceiving things. Here we talk about what it all means for the future of AI-driven devices and for human beings. "It doesn't apply to me," I can hear many saying. Oh yes it does.
"AI is over." #wwdc2024 appetizer. Really? I know a guy, Jacob Ilin, who is a magic maker. His app Glowby, from https://glowbom.com/ Glowbom lets you draw in the air, talk to an AI, and a user interface appears in the Vision Pro. Using it makes me feel like magic has arrived. I start with the demo before getting into an interview with him. Think AI is done? It's just getting started.
Socra https://socra.com an AI app for setting goals or is it the future of how you will control your humanoid robot? The founders, Eduarda Ferreira and Mike Morton dig into what a goal setting app might be able to do.
The AI company that makes your AI run faster than OpenAI's best. Groq https://groq.com/ makes a new kind of AI inferencing chip that makes AI models run FAST. Like way faster than even the new model that OpenAI shipped last week. Since so many developers are telling me about Groq and how it makes their AI-based systems run so much faster than any other hosting system, I wanted to learn more. Here's a 51 minute conversation with Groq's CEO, Jonathan Ross with host of Unaligned, Robert Scoble.
his is the best example Unaligned host Robert Scoble has seen of how AI and computer vision is changing consumer electronics. Here https://maticrobots.com/ founder Mehul Nariyawala comes to Scoble's home to give an in-depth demo (the good stuff starts about 30 minutes into the video). This also shows how products are greatly improved when you have a team that looks at life from first principles. Some things to note? Because of its roller design it doesn't get clogged by pet hair. Because of its computer vision it doesn't get stuck on cords, or fringes on rugs. Because of its AI it doesn't "chew" an expensive rug and destroy it. Because of its 3D real-time scan of your home it lets it do things other vacuums can't.

#22: AI's for non-techies

2024-05-0901:15:20

Teaching AI to newbies with @gaimnetwork's founder (they make an app to bring AI to regular people). Lengthy discussion with founder Brady Lewis and host Robert Scoble. (He wrote a book on AI for newbies too). Fun discussion about the troubles everyday people have to learning AI tools. Learn more at https://gaim.ai
Get better customer feedback with @Kraftful https://www.kraftful.com/ . Founder Yana Welinder joins host Robert Scoble to tell us about her AI company that does just that.
When @deedydas (an investor at @MenloVentures) posted that he was blown away by a new developer tool, it caught my attention (I'm Robert Scoble, host of Unaligned). The tool, Marblism https://www.marblism.com, builds apps from prompts. This morning we sat down with founder Ulric Musset to learn more about this interesting company.
Bindu Reddy is founder/CEO of Abacus AI, a company thatmakes a suite of tools that you can use to turn your business into an AI-run workhorse. Here she talks to business people who are starting to implement AI, or are interested in learning more about how AI can help them in their business, from marketing tasks to seeing patterns in sales and employee data. She digs into agents, and other topicswith host Robert Scoble, in a great conversation about what AI means for businesses that don't have teams of computer scientists to build AI systems. Learn more about Abacus at https://abacus.ai
Ross Cohen is working with teachers, students, and parents all over the world to bring AI into the classroom. His initiative/tool, “Tech in Schools” enables teachers to build lesson plans and radically improve their classrooms with a variety of different AI models. Here we have a wide-ranging conversation about how education is starting to change due to AI and how he’s seeing the challenges of new kinds of student cheating, to the opportunities of new kinds of projects thanks to the new Large Language Models that are shipping literally every day. For more about Tech in Schools, see https://getmytsi.org
The Rabbit AI device took the Consumer Electronics Show by storm in January, which inspired Killian Lucas, founder of Open Interpreter,  to build a team that would build an open-source competitor, which, when first released in March, 2024, also sold out nearly instantly. Here Killian takes us through what this new kind of device can do and covers the ethical and social problems that a device that can watch everything you do, and listen toeverything you say, can bring to people. Learn more athttps://www.openinterpreter.com/01
If you talk with a developer who is using AI to build new kinds of systems they are probably building AI agents. But very few people in society have even heard of them. So, I wanted to get a primer on agents, and that led me to the founders of Agentops.ai. They claim "AI Agents Suck. We're Fixing That" on their website. We cover everything from what they are, how to use them, to mistakes people make as they start using AI agents. Learn more: https://www.agentops.aiSponsored by AI Top Tools. www.AITopTools.com
Finally an AI model that can tell you why it gives you the answers it does!! Angelo Dalli is building a new kind of AI that fixes the problems of current large language models. Existing models generate errors, AKA “hallucinations” but can’t tell you why. His AI, built using neurosymbolic techniques, will be able to get rid of these errors, but even better, explain why it makes the decisions it does. Here he talks to me about the state of the art of current AIs and where we are going. Sponsored by AI Top Tools: www.aitoptools.com

#10: Lumafield

2024-03-0636:52

How can manufacturers PROVE their quality. Put a Lumafield at the end of your line. This is a high-tech AI-run scanner that builds 3D scans of your product that are so fine you can zoom into details that are three nanometers across. That is half the size of a human red blood cell. Here is Jon Bruner, product lead, to show us what it does and what role AI plays in it.

#9: Making "Her"

2024-02-1442:55

Lots of companies are building new AI personal assistants. Virtual beings, we call them. Think of the AI in the movie "Her." But how can such a thing understand the human’s voice? @Speechmatics https://speechmatics.com is delivering developers state of the art voice understanding systems. Here we dig into what the state of the art actually is with Speechmatics’ head of product, Trevor Back @TrevorBack.
My mind was blown by the demo they showed me (see it at the end of this thread). You can build apps with AI backend with little to no code, extremely quickly. The software can switch between any of the major models (ChatGPT, Claude, etc) based upon which can handle the job best. In this episode my guests are CEO Dmitry Shapiro, former Google PM and CTO of Myspace, and CTO Sean Thielen. Learn more here: https://youai.ai/

#4: The AI Enterprise

2023-11-0337:38

The AI Enterprise?  Robert Scoble interviews Chris Wolf who runs AI at VMware about what is happening in business due to the onslaught of new AI technology. Most of the world's largest businesses run on VMware, so he has the best view of what is really going on with AI inside the world's biggest companies.
Getting nerdy today. First AI Developer's Tool on my show: @helicone_ai which is a monitoring tool for your AI systems. One change on this third Unaligned: we are more aggressively using @DescriptApp's AI video editing tools, having it remove extra words and making our guest, @justinstorre, look like he is looking more at the camera. New video editing capabilities due to AI. Has both pros (video content more engaging) and cons (sometimes video seems jumpy and eyes look a little weird).
Rewind.ai is one of the hottest startups in Silicon Valley. It privately and securely tracks everything that goes on in your computer and makes it easily accessible. No more notes!
The first ever episode of Unaligned! My guest is Edward Ballasanian, the founder of Aimi.fm. Aimi creates personally tailored, real time music with the help of AI.
