EP 29: Cars are Cool

Still on our liberal agenda of course. That said we had news of some interesting time trials the night of recording, we'll recap what the results were afterwards since neither TT was live streamed. Talking about some athlete updates, and a lot of talk about cars. Stay tuned for car hour with Ty Bowman.

EP 28: Impossible Games, Christian Coleman, and Facebook

Facebook is a gold mine for these whack people guys. If you didn't know, this podcast is hereby sponsored by Antifa. We probably won't joke about it much more because shit might actually happen lmao. We sort of had a little hiatus with BLM stuff and a lack of running news, so this was a bit of a catch up episode. Podcast is likely to come back to shooting the shit for an hour with some running related commentary. We'll see how the flow goes. Hope y'all continue to enjoy the podcast.

EP 26! The Marathon Finish

Welcome to the marathon finish line ladies and gentleman! 26 whole episodes lmao. Enjoy this one, back to the same structure as the usual along w/ Episode 25, getting in our groove again now that there's some controversial running news. Talking about more programs getting cancelled, some D3 All American News, Strava Changes, and the HS sub-4 mile (which has now happened!). Thanks for sticking around y'all. Went a little long on this episode but it's all worth it. Last half hour gets a little unstructured but still good.

EP 21.5: The "Pre-Show" for ep21

If you listen to the start you'll know that we assumed Tey was going to be with us earlier but that wasn't the case due to a timing mishap on my end haha, but the real episode 21 began when he joined us 5 mins after we closed off this episode. Hope you enjoy some slight shenanigans and our desperate hunt for running related news.

EP 21: Season 3 Kick off w/ Tey Ruiz

Consider this part 1 of a two parter episode to 21. This is actually the second half of the recording because for the "first half", it was just Shrey, Spence, and Tyler messing around waiting for Tey to arrive. This is the real meat of the podcast and Tey had a lot of really interesting information and approaches to training that everyone will find really informative. We kind of jumped from topic to topic but we started off talking about Tey's background, and then progressed to his approaches for training, workout ideologies, and how he accumulated the knowledge he has now to become a “coach”. Hope y'all enjoy! https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/10DPozLnuCplsoOYq5xnvZtGyO3AI8b39  - in case you're interested in reading up on running based knowledge material, this is a cumulative drive with some fairly comprehensive information.

EP 20: Dripchoge and Covid's Impact on the Running Scene

More Covid content coming your way to cap off the end to "season 2". We discuss Kipchoge's GQ spread and much more in this brief one hour episode. Still working out the kinks on how to effectively keep running the show here for now, but we have some interviews on the cards with some people that should help spice up the content. Take a peak at our latest bonus episode, the Snack Tier List Special! Listen to us argue about snacks for 90ish minutes.

EP Covid-19: Talking about Everything (Tokyo 2021)

We recorded this a couple days ago, and we tried scheduling some guests but alas no cigar. The format might change a little bit in the future with how we get guests and what exactly this podcast talks about during these trying times. Stay safe out there kiddos.  Longer episode that what we've been aiming for recently, but still short compared to our older ones. Also y'all should have time, so just listen! This is a fun one :)

EP 18: It's Corona Time ft. Delaware

It's Corona Time. Stay safe out there people. We discussed the basics that everyone in the running world should know, speculated a little about the Olympics, and generally have a good conversation about our own personal training. We'll see how the podcast takes shape the next couple weeks without any running news. Hopefully y'all enjoy this one :)

EP 16: OTM Preview & Farah Recants Faster Than He Can Run 400m

Getting the episodes down to some tighter times, so timestamps don't matter as much as they used to I suppose. First 50-60 minutes of this entire show covers is just talking about the Men's and Women's side of the Olympic Marathon Trials this weekend in Atlanta. Shoutout to former RPI XC Alumni Sean O Connor and Jake Andrews! We also talk about Mo Farah's rapid recanting of his drug use, a little bit back to mechanical doping, and we have a race recap of Specer's Gasparilla half marathon this weekend! Our host ran 1:10:24 for a 2nd place finish, pretty interesting to hear about. EP 12: Cafeteria Food and Mechanical Doping

We have a quickie for you boys this evening. 20 minute cold open basically talking about cafeteria food, and then we get right into Walmsley and AlphaFly controversy. Some light commentary on Mary Cain and Katelyn Tuohy's 3K performances this weekend, but not as deep dive as usual on this slower week. We took a week off in anticipation of some more news but no dice, so we wanted to keep it up anyways. No real timestamps on this one as its more conversational and we fluctuate from thought to thought. Pretty clear we all share a singular brain cell. Enjoy the pod!

EP 10 ft BEN BARROWS

Hey guys, thanks for listening for 10 whole episodes. Today we bring the special episode, which is an episode with the man, the myth, the legend, Ben Barrows. It's thanks to this discord that we three hosts met and became friends and chose to start this podcast! This interview was a bit more "upright" and proper compared to our usual style, but we wanted to meet the level of professionalism expected of a running YouTuber and college coach like Ben. This episode is basically a little interview with Ben with questions that we were mostly curious about, with some regular banter thrown in. If you enjoyed the episode, please leave a review on whatever streaming platform you may be watching on - Spotify, iTunes, YouTube, etc. We'd appreciate all the feedback Without further ado, here are some rough timestamps for the podcast: 0:00-10:00 - cold open and introduction to the hosts 10:00-20:00  - Ben's running background, Ben / Spence's marathon training 20:00-36:00 - Ben's PR's, sub-15 / Houston training, the editing lifestyle and logistics 36:00-48:00 - some fun Q&A, a running legend, and 10K subscribers 48:00-54:30 - being a running purist, Strava vs. Running2Win 54:30-68:30 - professionalism, famous encounters, being a coach ----- Tyler Leaves ----- 69:30-89:00 - the YouTube running scene and running YouTubers 89:00-97:00 - how normal people react to runners + Spencer's radio fame ----- Discord and previous episode guests shoutouts, outro -----
