Unbridled Learning: Assessment Snapshots

In 2009, the Kentucky General Assembly, passed Senate Bill 1, which began a new era in public school assessment and accountability. This new accountability system holds all schools and districts accountable for improving student performance. Madison County Schools is pleased with the results of the new assessment and accountability system. The results confirm that the district is working hard to ensure that Every Student Counts. Progress is being made throughout the district. Madison County Schools, with the help of Assistant Superintendent Randy Peffer and District Assessment Coordinator Donna Caldwell, offers information about Kentucky's new assessment and accountability system including district results from the spring 2012 assessment.
