Today's guest is the owner and Chief Medical Officer of PrimeMD Aesthetics & Wellness.
He describes himself as purposeful and hardworking, but I would say he is also gracious, kind, and dedicated to helping others achieve their potential.
As a former collegiate athlete, husband, and father, he recognizes the importance of "functioning at peak performance" and of achieving one's highest level of vitality.
Dr. Joe Hummel is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine and completed his residency work at the Mayo Clinic. He is board-certified with a clinical focus on anti-aging medicine and medical informatics.
In this episode, we learn how Dr. Joe transitioned from years of emergency medicine to starting PrimeMD in 2010 and miking it his primary focus by 2017. Hear about ho elements of his childhood, his wrestling career, his medical school experiences and his residency training led him to think differently about his medical career, and why his more wholistic approach to each patient or client may lead to better outcomes and increased functional longevity.
He not only practices medicine, but truly practices servant leadership and that has led to some interesting projects (including a farm. . .).

Today I have the privilege of sitting down with a guest whose friendship I truly cherish.  Our friendship is, in fact, the oldest surviving friendship I have.  Sometimes we talk often, sometimes not much at all, but it’s always like the conversation never really stopped—almost like we’ve hit the pause button waiting for our next time to catch up.  I’m excited to share this catch-up with all of you.
Christopher is a Musician most days, but his talents are so numerous, it’s hard to narrow them down.  He describes himself as a dad, a friend, and a listener.  He’s a lover of music, of books, and of learning—with a surprising knowledge of hardware, construction, and tools.  But the amount of knowledge he carries around about the automotive world is astounding.  In fact, it’s probably why we became friends way back when, as there were few people that could tell me something about a then-current car that I didn’t already know.
He can drive a stick, play the bass, build a mean lego dream house, and still manage to find time to read, spend time with his family, and be just about the nicest person you’ll meet.
If you’re ready to learn a bit about any number of subjects, this is the episode for you.  So now, ladies, gentlemen—all you remarkable people, welcome Christopher Neel to the show.
Today’s guest has been showing clients all over the world how pliable both the body and the mind can be—no matter WHEN you start to train them.
Aaron has devoted himself to daily movement, meditation, and breath-work practices.  Having done his first handstand at 35, he can not only identify with adults interested in learning to practice gymnastics or enhance their movement abilities, but can provide the types of feedback, pointers, and encouragement that only that type experience can bring.
Aaron is a lawyer turned movement teacher.  After leaving the practice he founded and built over the course of 10 years, he took control of his life and is finding all the opportunity that comes with starting over.
He describes himself as Expressive, Fun, Light, Deep, and Joyous.  He’s now co-owner of a yoga studio on the Australian Sunshine Coast, donates a lot of his time to sharing his knowledge of movement with tutorials and educational videos on YouTube and other platforms,  inspires confidence in those he teaches through strength and mobility, and is my very first international guest.
