Description

Are your mornings less “rise and shine” and more “Get in the car, the bus is coming—where’s your shoe? Do you have your backpack? Where’s your lunchbox?”

Do you feel bone-tired, snapping at your kids when all they want is your attention?
Does dinnertime feel like a three-ring circus, with guilt sprinkled on top because you’re not feeding your kids the way you feel you “should”?

Are you juggling work, kids, and a house that feels like it’s permanently stuck on fast-forward — and somehow you’re always the one chasing it?

If you whispered “yes” to any of that… mama, you’re in the right place.

I’m Crystal ,  wife, mom of three, and the “parent on file” for just about everything. I’ve been exactly where you are: holding it all together on the outside while quietly wondering when life was going to feel like mine again.

For years, I thought if I just worked smarter, got more organized, or finally found the perfect planner that did all the things, I’d magically get it together. Spoiler alert: it didn’t happen. Instead, I ended up more exhausted, more overwhelmed, and honestly… kind of cranky.

I kept saying yes to things that drained me ,  volunteering, overcommitting, doing “all the things” because I thought I should ..... while trying to fix the chaos with color-coded routines, new systems, and even multiple coaches. But none of it worked. It didn’t give me peace. It just deepened the exhaustion and made me feel like I was failing at home and at work.

My wake-up call came during my own season of burnout, when I finally realized:
I didn’t need a better planner…
I needed a better plan .....one that worked with my real life, not against it.

So I started creating simple tools and uncomplicated systems that made motherhood feel lighter, calmer, more predictable — and honestly, more fun again.

And that’s what this podcast is here to help you do.

If you’re ready to stop running on empty, ditch the guilt, set boundaries without apologizing, and finally enjoy your family and your life again… this podcast is for you.

So pop in your earbuds, toss that mystery Tupperware from the fridge, ignore Mount Everest Laundry for now, and let’s get started — together.

EPISODE 42: How to Find Joy in the Middle of the Mess (Even When You Feel Behind) Ever crawl into bed thinking, “I was busy all day but got nothing done — and now I’m even more behind”? Yeah, mama. That’s the behind-feeling. It’s the frozen chicken at 5 p.m., the school-app pings that never stop, and the laundry that multiplies overnight. It keeps you chasing “someday” — the clean house, the clear calendar, the quiet season — as if joy is waiting there. But here’s the truth: joy isn’t hiding in someday. Joy is right here, baked into the mess. In this episode, we’ll talk about how joy pulls you out of behind-mode and plants you in the present — where calm and confidence actually live. You’ll hear: The real-life gas-station-pizza + All Star story that reminded me what presence feels like Why “behind-mode” tricks you into waiting for joy at the finish line (and why it never works) The simple shift to start noticing joy in messy, ordinary moments — and why saying it out loud matters A quick sanity check (because yes, hiding in the bathroom with a cookie still counts as joy) Reflection Questions: Where are you living so far ahead in your head that you’re missing the joy right in front of you? Where have you been waiting for “someday” to finally let yourself feel happy? Mama, joy is what shifts you from always behind → steady and in control. You don’t have to wait for the clean house or the perfect day — joy is already here, whispering in the middle of your real life. Friend, that’s you erasing your wins. And every time you do it, you chip away at your confidence. No wonder you feel stuck “always behind.” In today’s episode, I’m breaking down: • Why moms erase their wins without even realizing it • How this sneaky habit keeps you from building confidence • The simple shift to finally let your progress count Confidence doesn’t come from doing it all.   This one’s for the woman who’s been holding it together for so long, she doesn’t even realize she’s missing. I went to Utah thinking I just needed a little space. A break. A chance to breathe. What I didn’t expect? Was to completely fall apart poolside. To cry in silence at a spa with no one watching. To ride a chairlift with my husband and realize… I’ve forgotten how to just be. This isn’t a story about a breakdown. It’s a story about a return. In this episode, I’m sharing what happened when I stopped performing, stopped producing, and let myself feel the weight I’ve been carrying. Why stillness didn’t feel like peace at first. Why the quiet felt more like grief. And why getting a tattoo in Park City wasn’t about making a statement—it was about remembering something sacred: I didn’t need to be fixed. I just needed to be found. If you’ve been busy holding everyone else together… If you're tired of proving your worth through what you do… If the thought of not being needed leaves you feeling lost— Come sit with me here. You’ve been telling yourself, “I just need to let go. I need to stop holding it all.” But every time you even think about letting go? Full-body panic. Your brain spirals. Your chest tightens. You convince yourself that if you loosen your grip for one second, it’ll all come crashing down. But what if letting go isn’t dangerous? What if it’s actually your path home—not to chaos, but to freedom? Inside this episode, we’re breaking down: Why letting go feels absolutely terrifying (it’s not because you’re dramatic) Why you’ve tied your worth to control—and how it’s wrecking your nervous system The real reason you fear losing more than just your to-do list—you fear losing yourself How to pause the panic without burning your whole life down Plus—I’m sharing one of my favorite metaphors about the “House of Cards” you’ve been living in… it’s gonna hit deep. ohhhh, girl. This episode? Buckle up. We’re going there. You keep saying, “I’m just overwhelmed.” But what if that’s not actually true? What if the real reason you feel like you’re drowning is because you’ve been over-responsible for everyone and everything in your life? Yep, we’re flipping that belief today. I’m showing you how you’ve been stuck in this pressure-cooker cycle—taking on everyone’s needs, managing every little thing, and calling it “just a hard season.” But it’s not a season. It’s a cycle. And here’s the good news—you don’t need to burn it all down to get out of it. In this episode, we’re breaking down: Why your overwhelm is really over-responsibility The hidden ways you’ve been emotionally “air-conditioning” your whole house (and business) Why you keep saying yes, even when it’s killing you inside And how to spot when you’re carrying what’s not yours—without fixing it or feeling guilty This one’s gonna feel like a deep exhale, friend.
