sounds like the host is sneaking a late night recording of the details! Why??? When he is interviewing the witnesses he speaks with a normal tone and strength. And no other person working on this podcast addressed this issue prior to releasing it?? I want to scream STOOOOPPP. ITS ANNOYING. It's a shame, I'm sure he put considerable time and energy into the research and development of this otherwise interesting podcast. But I have to move on, too many other, better produced podcasts. 🤪

this is an enthralling case but the investigator's narration voice is super annoying. you can hear his normal voice on phone calls then the narration is all creaky and quiet and trying to be mysterious. argh

I kinda like the way this guy talks! I read all the horrible reviews and was expecting...I don’t even know what. Every single review is about his voice and it’s not that bad at all. Y’all complain too much.

I've never been so mad listening to a podcast episode. This defense is such bullshit and demeaning to the victims.

I'm astonished that the amount of debris left at the crash site. Do they not reconstruct planes for such a disaster? Is this why there are so many questions because that type of investigation you would expect to happen, didn't?

This back and forth with those who left NXIVM, the government and NXIVM leaders sounds like many issues dealing with Scientology in it's early days. The government eventually gave up and allowed the many antics to continue.

Sarah is to NXIVM as Tom Cruise is to Scientology. At least that is what I'm invisioning.

How the fuck does the New York State Health Department have the right to say there was no medical misconduct because Dr. Roberts wasn't Sarah's doctor. It's the failure of a medical professional to follow the accepted standards of practice of his or her profession, resulting in harm to a patient. There's nothing that states the patient HAS to be said individuals doctor. Such a statement is appalling and that person(s) needs to be beaten senseless.

The investigator and narrator has a great soothing voice that is calm amongst the cruel chaos he is revealing. it is disheartening that the desperation and suffering that Joan endured was met with such inaction while she was alive and after her murder.

Probably the most boring and uninteresting crime podcast I have ever listened to. I liked the first season, but they went downhill from there. The episodes seem very unorganized, the "investigators" seem very into themselves, and the content is just lacking. I expect actual content regarding why you started the podcast. You learn in english 101 to have a thesis statement and to stick to it but these guys seem incapable. Also, I listen on nearly 2 speed but they sounds like normal speed even then, which makes the podcast feel forever long.

you people are what's wrong with this world. ever thought what this guy's story is? maybe he's an intern and this is his first real shot at something. maybe he has anxiety or speech problems and he's trying to conquer them by pushing himself to make this season's podcast. like ....think before you speak. also put your money where your mouth is and make your own damn podcast if you don't like this one like my god. be quite.

Bell End I agree, I always say everyone has a journey you never know what ppl have gone through. But I think this is a different scenario. these are reviews, not really personal attacks. I'm sure the sponsors would not appreciate a narrator using this forum to "get over anxiety" when it comes to dollars and cents. I have a hard time thinking he speaks like this in his everyday life. Episode #1 when he's interviewing Linda at his house...he's a normal speaking guy. So what's up with speaking like he's sneaking a late night phone call?!
