While a loved one goes missing, their families are forced to go through an emotional turmoil that I would not wish on my worst enemy. Between wondering where they are every day, having to cope with not knowing what happened to them and not being able to grieve properly for their loved one, many families describe it as being in a constant state of limbo. Unless you have been unfortunate enough to have a loved one go missing, it is impossible to imagine exactly how devastating it would be, but some families of the missing have to deal with additional struggles that only serve to further their suffering. An example of this is trolling, and while it seems inconceivable that someone could be cruel enough to torment the families of the missing with such vile messages, unfortunately people like this do exist. This is just one of the devastating things that a Scottish family has had to go through since their loved one went missing eight years ago. Let's uncover the unsolved disappearance of Allan Bryant Jr. If you have any information on Allan's disappearance or his current whereavouts, please contact Police Scotland on 101 or you can email OperationToner@scotland.pnn.police.uk You can also contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, or call or text the charity Missing People on 116 000.  Twitter - @Uncover_podInstagram - uncovertruecrimepodCase Suggestion Form - https://forms.gle/mUDbNYeoTZ5kGfaq7Music: The Rake & There is Something You Should Know by CO.AG and The Art of Silence by UniqAll sources and picture can be found at www.uncovertruecrimepodcast.co.uk
I'm sure at one time or another, we have all tried to run away from our problems and while this certainly is tempting, it rarely works. Whether you are trying to escape from a debt, mental health issues, family problems or legal troubles, life often finds a way of catching up to us and forcing us to face our problems head on. Some people chose to physically run away from their lives and create a new identity for themselves, but others who have perhaps gotten themselves into a dangerous situation may have this choice taken away from them and might meet a far worse fate. Either of these scenarios could be true from a young woman, thought to be involved in the deaths of two of her acquaintances, before she, herself, went missing. Let's uncover the case of the Bakersfield Three. If you have any information on Baylee Despot's disappearance, or on the murders of James Kulstad and Micah Holsonbake, please contact the Bakersfield police on (661) 327-7111 Twitter - @Uncover_podInstagram - uncovertruecrimepodCase Suggestion Form - https://forms.gle/mUDbNYeoTZ5kGfaq7Music: The Rake & There is Something You Should Know by CO.AG and The Art of Silence by UniqAll sources and picture can be found at www.uncovertruecrimepodcast.co.uk
Finishing high school is the ending of one chapter of one's life and the start of another. While some leave school not knowing what they want to do with their lives, some have their entire future mapped out, know exactly what they want and how they plan on achieving it. Some will go on to achieve their goals, while some people's lives may take them on a totally different path that the one that had planned. The young woman we will be talking about today had her whole life ahead of her, until one fateful May evening when she went missing, never to be seen again. Let's uncover the unsolved disappearance of Cleashindra Hall. If you have any information about Cleashindra, please call the Pine Bluff Police Department at 870–543–5111.Twitter - @Uncover_podInstagram - uncovertruecrimepodCase Suggestion Form - https://forms.gle/mUDbNYeoTZ5kGfaq7Music: The Rake, The Woods & Haunted by CO.AG and The Art of Silence by UniqAll sources and picture can be found at www.uncovertruecrimepodcast.co.uk
There is a lot we don't know about serial killers. We don't know what drives them to kill innocent people, how they can get any pleasure from it at all or how many of them go undetected for years. Sadly, in some cases, we don't know exactly how many victims they have, meaning that the families of their victims go without justice. And while some serial killers love to brag about their crimes, some will never confess to the true extent of their depravity, which leaves many to speculate how many innocent lives they have taken and who their victims might be and that’s exactly what we'll be discussing today. Let's uncover the cases that are possible connected to Christopher Halliwell. If you have any information on the cases covered in this episode, please contact the police on 101 or to report a tip anonymously, you can call Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111Twitter - @Uncover_podInstagram - uncovertruecrimepodCase Suggestion Form - https://forms.gle/mUDbNYeoTZ5kGfaq7Music: The Rake & Dark Rage, The Woods & Haunted by CO.AG and The Art of Silence by UniqAll sources and picture can be found at www.uncovertruecrimepodcast.co.uk
Most of us make little notes to ourselves to remember important dates or upcoming events. We might type them into our phones or computer, write them on the back of our hand, or scribble them onto a notepad or in a diary of sorts. Sometimes, these notes only make sense to the person who wrote them, and they may have to transcribe their meaning to others. The FBI came across a note like this in 1999, in the pocket of a deceased man's jeans. A piece of paper with letters, brackets, question marks and numbers written on it and while some believe the notes are merely the inner workings of one man's mind, others believe it could be a major clue to solving this man's murder. Let's uncover the Unsolved Murder of Ricky McCormack. If you have any information on Ricky's death or the note found on him, please contact the FBI Major Case Unit on 1-800-CALLFBI (225-5324)You can also write to the CRRU:FBI LaboratoryCryptanalysis and Racketeering Records Unit2501 Investigation ParkwayQuantico, VA 22135Attn: Ricky McCormick CaseTwitter - @Uncover_podInstagram - uncovertruecrimepodCase Suggestion Form - https://forms.gle/mUDbNYeoTZ5kGfaq7Music: The Rake & Dark Rage, The Woods & Haunted by CO.AG and The Art of Silence by UniqAll sources and picture can be found at www.uncovertruecrimepodcast.co.uk
The Mississippi river is over 2,000 miles long and flows through ten states in America. The river is vital to several industries for its drainage system, its ability to generate hydroelectric power and for the various species of fish that swim in its waters. It is where water skiing was invented and was also the setting in many of Mark Twain's novels. The Mississippi holds a lot of historical relevance, cultural importance and is important to the eco system in several states. The river also holds many tragic secrets and unsolved mysteries, and the one we will be discussing today is darker than most. Trigger warning, we will be discussing the deaths of four new-borns as we cover the Unsolved Deaths of Corey, Jamie, Abbie and Angel Doe. Anyone with information about the Corey, Jamie, Abbie or Angel's deaths should contact the Goodhue County Sheriff's Department at (651) 385-3155 or through an anonymous tip line at 1-866-887-4357. Twitter - @Uncover_podInstagram - uncovertruecrimepodCase Suggestion Form - https://forms.gle/mUDbNYeoTZ5kGfaq7Music: The Rake & Dark Rage, The Woods & Haunted by CO.AG and The Art of Silence by UniqAll sources and picture can be found at www.uncovertruecrimepodcast.co.uk
Being at one with nature is said to be a very calming, relaxing and mindful experience. Escaping everyday life and taking in the beautiful, natural sights that this world has to offer. While there are some dangers out in nature, many are either known to us, avoidable and can be handled safely. What no one would expect to come across, however, is a killer with such evil intentions. A killer whose senseless crime has sent shockwaves across the Unites States. Let's uncover the unsolved murders of Abigial Williams and Liberty German. If you have any information on Abbie and Libby's case or if you think you know who might be responsible for their deaths, please contact the Delphi Homicide Investigation Top Line on 844 4595786, or you can email abbyandlibbytip@cacoshrf.comLink to the Abby & Libby Memorial Park website - http://abbyandlibbymemorialpark.org/Twitter - @Uncover_podInstagram - uncovertruecrimepodCase Suggestion Form - https://forms.gle/mUDbNYeoTZ5kGfaq7Music: The Rake & Dark Rage, The Woods & Haunted by CO.AG and The Art of Silence by UniqAll sources and picture can be found at www.uncovertruecrimepodcast.co.uk
The festive period can be a hard time for a lot of people for a lot of different reasons. Perhaps for financial reasons, as well as triggering old memories or remembering those who aren't here to celebrate with us. This last Christmas was different for all of us but the Koecher family, it was yet another year without their loved one who went missing less than two weeks before Christmas. Let's uncover the unsolved disappearance of Steven Koecher. If you have any information related to Steven's case, you can contact the St Georges police department on 435-627-4300 or the Henderson police on 702-267-5000 Twitter - @Uncover_podInstagram - uncovertruecrimepodCase Suggestion Form - https://forms.gle/mUDbNYeoTZ5kGfaq7Music: The Rake & Dark Rage, The Woods & Haunted by CO.AG and The Art of Silence by UniqAll sources and picture can be found at www.uncovertruecrimepodcast.co.uk
It’s frustrating when we are so close to achieving something, but it still feels out of our reach, or that one piece of the puzzle just hasn't fallen into place yet. There are so many true crime cases where we seem to know so much, but still have a lot of unanswered questions, and todays case is no exception. I've said it before and I'll say it again; sometimes, it only takes one person to hear the right information for these cases for them to be solved, which is exactly why I have chosen to tell you about this case today as we uncover the unsolved murder of the Grundy County Jane Doe. If you have any information on Grundy County Jane Doe's murder or you think you might know her real name, please contact Grundy County Coroner's Office on (815) 942-3792 and quote the case number #10-76-36Twitter - @Uncover_podInstagram - uncovertruecrimepodCase Suggestion Form - https://forms.gle/mUDbNYeoTZ5kGfaq7Music: The Rake & Dark Rage, The Woods & Haunted by CO.AG and The Art of Silence by UniqAll sources and picture can be found at www.uncovertruecrimepodcast.co.uk
Some unexpected things can happen on a night out. You may get more drunk than you thought you'd get, plans may change and you could meet new people that leave a lasting impression. People may warn us to be careful, but we never, and should never, expect anything bad to happen to us, but sadly, the most innocent of night's out can result in tragedy. Three young women back in the 1960's went out for a night of dancing, socialising and drinking, but would never return home, thanks to one killer, who has never been caught. Join me and Files Obscura as we uncover the case of Bible John. If you have any information on Patricia Docker, Jemima McDonald or Helen Puttock's murder or if you think you may know who Bible John is, please call Police Scotland.Check out the Files Obscura Podcast! A lot of people don’t like driving late at night but for others, it's essential. Some people enjoy being able to take their usual route within excessive traffic and other road users holding them up. Some people have to drive miles in the dark every day, but some only have a short way to go until they get home. This was the case of the young woman we will be talking about today. She only had 7 minutes left of her journey before her car broken down, but by the time help arrived, she was gone. Let's uncover the unsolved disappearance of Robin Graham. If you have any information on Robin's disappearance or her current whereabouts, please call the LAPD on 213-996-1800 and quote the case cumber DR70687411 Start your free 1 month trial with Audible now by using the code UNCOVER or following this link - http://www.audibletrial.com/uncoverTwitter - @Uncover_podInstagram - uncovertruecrimepodJoin Facebook group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/uncovertruecrimediscussionCase Suggestion Form - https://forms.gle/mUDbNYeoTZ5kGfaq7Music by CO.AG - Dark Rage, Haunted and The RakeAll sources and pictures can be found at www.uncovertruecrimepodcast.co.ukAudible Start your FREE 30 day trial and get your first book today!Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. Attending parties as a teenager is a rite of passage. Some might be quiet and go off without a hitch, others may involve alcohol, and some become out of control. Tragedies have occurred at these kinds of parties over the years, but maybe none quite as mysterious as the case we will be discussing today. Christmas is, for many, the happiest time of the year and is filled with laughter, joy and hope for the future. For some, it brings back awful memories and is another reminder of that their loved ones aren’t there with them and for people who lost friends or family during the festive period, it can be even more difficult. For one mother, Christmas Day will always be the anniversary of the last time he spoke to her son. Two days later, he and his father would disappear after witnessing a brutal murder. Let’s uncover the unsolved murder of Latricia White & the disappearance of Lee & Chance Wackerhagen. If you have any information on Latricia's murder or Lee and Chance's disappearance, please contact the Texas DPS Criminal Investigative Services on 210-531-4375. Substance abuse has the power to completely ruin people's lives and their relationships. Loved ones are often unwilling to help enable them, become tired of all the broken promises and sadly, many people are estranged or have been disowned by their family because of their addiction. This kind of scenario could possibly be the reason why a young girl has been unidentified for almost 20 years, after she sadly lost her life to an overdose. Let's uncover the case the Tempe Couty Jane Doe. If you have any information on the Tempe County Jane Doe, or if you think you might know her real name, please contact the Tempe County Police Department on 480-350-8311 and quote case number 02-067577.Twitter - @Uncover_podInstagram - uncovertruecrimepodJoin Facebook group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/uncovertruecrimediscussionCase Suggestion Form - https://forms.gle/mUDbNYeoTZ5kGfaq7Music by CO.AG - Dark Rage, Haunted and The RakeAll sources and pictures can be found at www.uncovertruecrimepodcast.co.uk
You never know what goes on behind closed doors. The most unsuspecting people can harbour the most dreadful secrets, even the most successful people can have skeletons in their closet and just because someone appears to have the perfect family, they might still be dealing with unresolved issues from their own childhood. Issues that get progressively worse until they finally snap and commit a crime so awful that they make it onto one of the most infamous lists in the world. That's exactly what we will be discussing today as we discuss the murders of Mary, Brittany and Bobby Fisher.  If you have any information on Robert William Fisher's possible whereabouts, please call the Scottsdale Police Department at (480) 312-2716 or the Phoenix FBI Office at (602) 279-5511.Twitter - @Uncover_podInstagram - uncovertruecrimepodJoin Facebook group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/uncovertruecrimediscussionCase Suggestion Form - https://forms.gle/mUDbNYeoTZ5kGfaq7Music by CO.AG - Dark Rage, Haunted and The RakeAll sources and pictures can be found at www.uncovertruecrimepodcast.co.uk
Predators can be found all over the world and come in many different forms. Some are humas, looking to exploit others for personal gain, while others are animals that rely on their ability to hunt in order to survive. When a young woman was violently killed back in 2008, it was assumed she was attacked by a great white shark, quite possibly the most feared animal in the ocean, but is it possible that her real killer lives on dry land, hiding in plain sight? Let's uncover the suspicious death of Michelle Von Emster. If you have any information about Michelle's death or the circumstances surrounding it, please contact the San Diego police department on 619-531-2000 or 858-484-3154 Twitter - @Uncover_podInstagram - uncovertruecrimepodJoin Facebook group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/uncovertruecrimediscussionCase Suggestion Form - https://forms.gle/mUDbNYeoTZ5kGfaq7Music by CO.AG - Dark Rage, Haunted and The RakeAll sources and pictures can be found at www.uncovertruecrimepodcast.co.uk
The transition from childhood to adolescence is as hard for parents, as it is for the young person.  Not knowing how much, if any, responsibilities to give them and questioning every decision you make, worrying whether or not it was the right one. One such decision is the choice to leave your child home for the first time, something which usually doesn't result in any major problems. For one mother, this decision would have the worst possible outcome as she left her 13 year old daughter home alone go to work, but by the time she came back, she was gone and was never seen again. Let's uncover the unsolved disappearance of Leigh Occhi. If you have any information on Leigh's disappearance, please call Tupelo City Police Department on (662) 841-6491. As a parent, it's natural to want to give your child all the things you didn’t have when you were growing up and to give them the best start in life that we can. That's why it seems so inconceivable that a woman who, to the outside, seemed like the perfect wife and mother, would decide to disappearance start a new life...or did she? Let's uncover the unsolved disappearance of Joan Risch. If you have any information related to Joan's case, please call the Massachusetts State Police on 781 897 6600 and quote case number 612623Check out the Survivor Network on GetVokl & come join us on Sunday at 8pm GMT https://getvokl.com/channel/colcrimeTwitter - @Uncover_podInstagram - uncovertruecrimepodJoin Facebook group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/uncovertruecrimediscussionCase Suggestion Form - https://forms.gle/mUDbNYeoTZ5kGfaq7Music by CO.AG - Dark Rage, Haunted and The RakeAll sources and pictures can be found at www.uncovertruecrimepodcast.co.uk
Starting high school is daunting for a lot of teenagers, and what most of them want, more than anything, is to fit in and for their peers to accept them. So, when an invitation to party with slightly older and more popular students comes up, for most, it would be a no-brainer. This was certainly the case of two girls back in 2012, who were looking forward to cutting loose with some boys they knew from school. There was absolutely no way they could have foreseen the abuse they would be subjected to that night, and for years to come. Trigger warning, we will be discussing rape, sexual assault and self-harm today as I and Mark from the Survivors Network uncover Daisy Coleman's story.Check out the Survivor Network on GetVokl - https://getvokl.com/channel/colcrimeYou can follow the Survivor Netwrk on Twitter at @survivornetCheck out Cubs & Co on Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/cubsandco_prints/ & you can check out their website here - https://www.cubsandcoprints.com/ (NOT SPONSORED, NOT AN AFF LINK)Start your own podcast with Buzzsprout todayhttps://www.buzzsprout.com/?referrer_id=670031(affiliate link)Twitter - @Uncover_podInstagram - uncovertruecrimepodJoin Facebook group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/uncovertruecrimediscussionCase Suggestion Form - https://forms.gle/mUDbNYeoTZ5kGfaq7Music - Dark Rage,The Rake by CO-AG & Where'd You Go by Fort MinorAll sources and pictures can be found at www.uncovertruecrimepodcast.co.uk
When violent crimes happen in small towns, local people are understandably terrified that a killer is walking amongst them. Is it their neighbour, a friend or god forbid, a family member?  Everyone wants to know who the killer is but in today’s case, we must start by trying to figure out who the victim is. Let’s uncover the unsolved murder of Sam Doe.  If you have any tips on Sam's true identity or the circumstances surrounding his death, please contact the Tofield RCMP on 780-662-3353 and quote the case reference number, which is 2012502446.
