Understanding Egyptian Collections: Innovative display and research projects in museums

On the 1st and 2nd September 2014, the Ashmolean Museum was proud to host the Understanding Egyptian Collections: Innovative display and research projects in museums conference. Looking at the exciting and interestnig ways in which museum conservators and egyptologists display ancient Egyptian artefacts and collections. From ways of conserving thousand year old mummies to restoring collosal statues, the conference finds new ways to conserve and display ancient objects.
