Has it been mentioned at any point whether Beverley has a long history of drug abuse? Because she sounds like long term former or current heroin addicts. I thought maybe they haven't mentioned it as a respect to her?

I'd ask if it's a conflict of interest or a violation of police ethics to have a mother (cop) interrogate her son but we know the police are not well known for their ethics.

okay I'm sorry how was the wrong person convicted for this? like everything points to the husband what are you talkin about why is there some different dude being arrested and imprisoned for this. like cops are so stupid it makes me really question a lot of cases where people say they're innocent and have been saying the same story for years and years like they might just be because this is got to be the husband like he's a drunk he can't pay bills he married a woman who is better than him and people think he was weird and had a temper but he didn't go to prison for this because he said he didn't do it that's crap

YOU can call them whatever you want but one day you will be thankful for people who will save your ass from a tyrannical government. Ironic that people who purport to fight against injustice would unconditionally back the government.

hi wants to do a research project on this very thing about weapons and markings on guns and how very subjective it is based on whoever the analysts is and that no two analysts ever seem to agree 100% on any bullets or casing. My forensic teacher at that time in 2004. That was an Abomination that I took that stance. I stand by my report.

sadly when you're dealing with a jury of 12 people that some of them aren't that educated, or have common sense that they're asked to use, you get guilty verdicts when clearly someone may have had an alibi or someone may not be the one identified he'll there have been times where people have been convicted even though somebody else said they did it. our judicial system is stupid because we rely on stupid people to be on a jury. I have gone to be on a jury several times and have been kicked off because maybe I was smarter than what they were looking for because as soon as they would ask me what I did for a living or how I felt about certain things I would give my answer and I would be struck from the jury. so it is not all the time that a jury has an equal representation of a variety of education levels. Like it isn't very often that you'll find someone with a master's or doctorate as a juror. So, that being said everything in America depends on our educational system and it sucks. Hell, people don't even understand their basic civil rights that they don't have to tell the cops anything so how can you count on those same people to know that if someone testifies on the witness stand that oh I picked out a different person and then the cops told me that wasn't the right one and I came back and picked up the right person they clearly There's Something Fishy going on.

that's just like with Adnan. he was at a religious ceremony where he had to present verses of the Quran and nobody believed them because people treat it like old because we share the same background they're going to defend you and lie for you. Just like they felt like oh they're going to send him back to Pakistan where he's never lived and he's going to flee so that's why you need to deny the 17-year old boy bond which was illegal at the time because they put his date of birth is 18 and later when it was revealed that they were Incorrect and he should have can't tonight I'm a minor Bond they were like oh well it's too late we've already he's already been incarcerated our justice system is BS. it's all about all these long drawn-out procedures and not about innocence or guilt. There is no dresses in our justice system it's all about punishment No Rehabilitation and cops and prosecutors that don't always care that they got the right person they just got a person and they can close the case. They should be held accountable when someone else comes along years later and says oh by the way I also killed a b c d then they should go back and be like you knew this person probably wasn't the killer still because you didn't go after the right killer that person continues to hurt and rape and kill other people you now need to be punished for that because those people would still be okay if you hadn't pursued innocent people.

These cold case detectives are not good detectives. They were wrong... They hate to admit they were wrong... And even if someone came forward and said they did it... Those 2 will say I don't believe it. It was Jeff. Like oh God. Stop.

FYI: The editing is off & about 12 min are repeated. Min 29:10 and min 42 say the same things. Becky's testimony & the alibi is repeated (that Hae declined giving Adnan a ride because she had sudden plans that came up).💞 Love this podcast...thank you for all your work & lack of bias.

If there was a sign about 5k reward at his former job, I can see that as a sure fire way to get people to see anything he ever said as violent.
