This is one of your best podcasts in a very, very long time, if not ever. There are a lot of moving parts which I like. There are moments when you think you're going in one direction and suddenly, you're going in another. But before you even mentioned the girl, I thought the cause of the disappearance would be one of two things: either competition over a job position or a woman (not necessarily i that order). Excellent, and I can't wait for the ending except that he's still missing
other drugs would do the job much more easily and are found much more easily if suicide was your goal. however almost any drug mixed with alcohol will cause a fatal overdose some in very small quantities
I got the impression that an Ambien overdose is uncommon because you would have to take a very high dose too overdose
Ed, I'm curious as to whether there is any family history or anyone she had been around in her childhood, even who drank or used substances. the reason I say that is because my cousin, who was not even born when her father died of cirrhosis, became an alcoholic herself. I really believe as small children we observe situations as normal that are not normal and they become part of our psyche.
I heard the McNeill podcast on either Spotify oor Castbox, which is very reliable.
heartbreaking especially as it refers to the Brunswick and Parma PD who were and are really despicable, to put it mildly, for putting so little effort into such a serious case. I'm familiar with the area of Brunswick Ohio and it's a small Department. They could have easily put some effort into it immediately which may have changed the outcome.
Excellent episode, Ed. Very thought-provoking in many ways. Much credit to the family for staying together on this. I think some people know more than what they told authorities. Several circumstances contributed to the difficulty in locating him. Thanks!
I hate to tell you this Ed,but Eau Claire Wisconsin is pronounced "OH CLAIRE" as opposed to "U CLAIRE". I'm sure that yoopers or the people that live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan may have told you that alread. :) Marg
I'm a little confused. I have left multiple comments about Ed and his narcissistic narrative, and they are all gone. I stopped listening to this podcast about a year ago. I still subscribe because I look up any updates on the cases later. His updates are terrible, his interviewing is terrible, the audio is terrible, and there are almost no redeeming qualities to this podcast. There are many other podcasts out there to listen to. I would suggest moving on to other shows.
https://eu.hollandsentinel.com/story/news/courts/2021/12/22/bowman-pleads-1989-murder-adopted-daughter/8994076002/ Aundria's body was found and her step dad pled guilty to her murder
The audio for this episode seems really off volume wise.
After listening to Ed for over three years, my honest review is this: there are always background notes that are so distracting, driving, breathing and sniffling, inconsistent volume and beeping. Ed tends to put a lot of weight on one interview with one person. He calls himself a reporter and a journalist, but I wouldn't. He constantly touts his 'over 150 cases', but not one of his podcasts has led to any additional developments or evidence in any of those cases. I think he only uses Facebook and the Charley Project as his sources. If he uses other ones, I have no idea because he doesn't state them. He seems very narcissistic and feels like he is some sort of qualified professional, but again, I wouldn't. I listen to many different podcasts where research is very in depth, sources are cited and multiple viewpoints are expressed. I continue to listen because the cases are interesting, but I'm getting to the point where I just can't take any of this anymore. One additional minor thing is
I don't understand why I can listen to other podcasts and there are no issues when they are interviewing someone on the phone, but yours is always up and down, catching tons of background noise and muffled. I'm catching up on past episodes and hoping that at some point, you have updated your equipment.
Could Trevor also have schizophrenia like his brother and been undiagnosed? Maybe he is living off the grid like many people with mental illness. I hope for the best possible outcome in this situation. Maybe contact @MiracleMessages and see if they can help in some way.
@unfoundpodcast My theory, what if Kristine called home the next day or so asking to get picked up and only Mike was there. Alissa Turney's stepfather had no priors either, right? Too bad phone records were never checked. #castbox
I'm not sure if you ever did an update on this... I'm still getting caught up on the past episodes and it's tough to follow with just verbal update episodes, but Melvin Ray Hufford was arrested and he confessed to manslaughter. All good if you are already aware of this, just an FYI. #teresabutler @unfoundpodcast @castbox_fm
The unnamed friend you talk about at the end of the episode seems like she is throwing a lot of shade into this situation with Devin. With testimony like this, no wonder no body cases are so hard to prove.#finddevinbrownboussetta
You haven't updated this posting that Devin's body was found and identified, and in the location where he was sighted and his phone last pinged. Such a sad discovery... just a glimpse into how the teen mind can completely overwhelmed by one item that when you get older, doesn't affect you as much. My deepest condolences to the family and his mom.
if they got his hairbrush, they can test his hair for poisoning.
I'm stunned that this was just a diagnosis of anxiety, this poor man was given so much medication that gave him such horrible side effects and people just thought that was okay. It's anxiety, not ALS or Parkinson's. I think he was slowly poisoned until he succumbed to it.
