In Revelation 12:1-6, John witnessed a woman about to give birth to her son and a red dragon in front of the woman as she was about to give birth, ready to devour her baby as soon as it was born. This Sunday, let’s take another look at 1 Corinthians 13. The last verse says, “three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love.” As we explore this scripture to gain a deeper understanding, let’s delve into “the greatest of these” …love.
When the sixth trumpet is blown in John’s vision, four angels are turned loose to kill one-third of all the people on earth. But, despite experiencing five plagues from the first five trumpets and the deaths from the sixth trumpet, the survivors still refused to repent of their evil deeds and turn to God. Let’s discern what this symbolizes in our lives and delve deeper into the meaning of the seven trumpets, as we learn how to navigate the second terror.
