Filthy fam! E with a C has a new podcast exclusively about the Purge, and E with a K hopped on this episode to talk about the very first Purge movie. The conversation includes how the youth will save us all, altruism, and how much E with a C is a James hater.

We got high and got lost. But, we're back....kind of.
Let's face it: our education system is absolutely abysmal when it came to teaching anything outside of the white supremacist colonial narrative. Turns out, that's an incredible shame for the rest of us. Not only is Black History Month the shortest month of the year, but as E with a K and E with a C talk about, apparently, teachers in the United States only know about three or four major figures to talk about for BHM - specifically Rosa Parks and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Join your hosts E with a K and E with a C as they talk about how this narrative harms Black people, how this narrative feeds and upholds white supremacy, and a few a-ha moments along the way. They also briefly reminisce about the one white teacher in their rural hometown who surprisingly taught more detailed lessons about Black history, plus some of the dumbest things white people have actually said to them.
We get Filthy and we discuss our personal experiences with toxic work place, and even share listener testimony.

Diet culture is pretty toxic, but it proves to be even more toxic and awful in the midst of a raging pandemic. Join E with a C and E with a K as they discuss diet culture in the time of COVID, touch on body image, and dive into how society dictates what is considered "good" and bad for people's bodies.
As a note, we are discussing diet culture, eating habits, body image, and disordered eating. If you find any of these topics particularly uncomfortable, we suggest you check out any of our other episodes and hope you will join us next week.

.Remember the black square you probably posted in June? Well, with the holiday season upon us, it's time to put your money where your black square was. In this episode, E with a C and E with a K review products and services from black creators they've experienced, along with other products and services from black creators that are just out of reach of their wallets or locations.
