Some of these new developments are demoralizing and discouraging. The new investigative team seems like a good ethical bunch, I hope they were not set up to fail and be professionally broken.

I am skeptical that the killer did not know that "Asian Male" was Trans if that is the case. Men do murder Trans people when they find out, that is all too common. I just am skeptical that *this* guy(s) didn't know about *this* victim.

Reluctant to connect "Peaches" to the other victims? Come on with that nonsense. (sarcasm)Don't men need variety? Doesn't the sex industry exist because men need variety?

intriguing how detective stephan added those comments to malign and discredit Shannon. I suspect that stephan made the loophole for attorney Ray. way to go, detective stephan. detective stephan is so civil in his engagement with Billy, and giving clues to the coverup. that is so awesome. it's like having an ally that can't really say anything and is relying on you to rise to the occasion.

Shannon Gilbert absolutely is connected to the other deaths. the only reason she was not in pieces with her head over here and her torso over there is because she somehow had the good fortune to make that call. their reasons for arguing that she is not connected with the others are so stupid. it is unsettling to hear intelligent people make such insultingly stupid arguments. she had a driver, who delivered her to her death. she made a call, that on the one hand got on record which is marvelous -- but probably helped to pinpoint her location more precisely. the doubting speculation and the stupid arguments are annoying.

it gets really annoying how common these types of scenarios are. this case is too much like the "Robert picton" case. he had "wild" "parties" with powerful men where God only knows what took place and women were tortured and murdered and dismembered. Jane's account was unmoving. Her "friend" set her up which is disturbing, but what she describes taking place between herself and the man is so commonplace a gross and exploitative act. The kind of thing that takes place in a lot of settings and isn't always paid for. It's kind of a statement of how fgross and unbalanced things can get between men and women. James Burke is obviously a dangerous and scary man but if he was the center of all the evil power, he would have killed Chris Loeb not just threatened him.

haha " being intimate with a sex worker" what a gross euphemism.

of course Shannon Gilbert's death was a murder ffs. Just because she was all3gedly better protected going in to that scenario (with a driver), just because she was able to get on 911, doesn't mean she did not meet with a "sophisticated skilled serial killer" ffs. it is not as if that 911 call did her any good is it.

well there have been several of these types of femicide clusters.the Texas Killing Field, the West Mesa Bone Collector, the Atlantic City Stranger, etc. I do reckon that Long Island Serial Killer is the most dignified name given to a particular femicide cluster. I don't think it is just one guy doing the killing this time though. Sometimes these wildly successful (criminally) "uncatchable" monsters have co-monsters. I don't think the proper societal response each time one of these horrible clusters occurs is to be all shocked and "how can this happen?!". the stupidest thing ever is that there is doubt about the existence of snuff films. of course they exist. of course there are evil monsters that make and distribute these to other evil monsters.

Regarding Season 2, after hearing The Owl poem, I really think there isn't much preventing this guy from morphing into a serial killer. He is what I would call, a Social Terrorist. Relationships with him are not two way streets and the fault of that is clearly on his part. He has now made himself so notorious that he will be forced to express his dissatisfaction with people and society differently that what he has been doing. The only way he will be able to up his game and satisfy those evil impulses of his.....is to start killing people. Considering his reputation, I do wonder if someone from his past has it out for him and will beat him to it.

Serial killer is most commonly defined as killing 3 or more people. The first guy you mentioned as a suspect was only convicted of 2. Not a serial killer by most definitions.

If you aren't going to release who owns it then don't tease it in a previous episode or why even bother driving to the house? You can look up who owned the house online.
