Unseriously

I'm Holly Mackle - join me as I ask quirky questions of notable normals. Maybe you've heard what your favorite creatives are working on, but it's outright fun to hear about their most-texted emoji, what they put in their Costco buggy, or the last time they had a dance party. Ready for a little levity in your earbuds? Welcome to Unseriously!

Kate DiCamillo Is Going the Wrong Way

Holly's brother-in-law, Chase, has been called in on this one, folks. There may be a quote-off. If you're friends with Holly in real life, she would like it noted that she arrived earlier than Kate to the interview, a fact which has now become one of the proudest moments of her life. The name you'll be shouting at this interview is BEN STEIN. Don't miss Sophie Blackall's Farmhouse for anyone in your life, not just littles, Amanda Cleary Eastep's Instagram is @book_leaves, and this is a Katherine Applegate book. Unseriously is back! And it's one for the ear buds, parents. In this PG episode it isn't so much the silliness that toed the line toward a PG rating, but more so it's grown-up talk about getting rid of "the talk," spoiling a picture book that your kids might like to experience for themselves, and processing one of our favorite Bible teacher's theological educational experiences. Four of season 2's fabulous guests will make an appearance: Mary Flo Ridley and Megan Michelson from Birds & Bees, Daniel Nayeri, and Amy Gannett of Tiny Theologians.
