"It's wrong for parents to bury their children. It should be the other way around." - Rose Kennedy In Episode 11 of Season 3, we hear from Anna Diab about the harsh reality Mrs. Kennedy articulated, years ago. Anna is a wife and mother of 3. After unexpectedly losing her oldest child at age 11, she is learning and working to be the parent she still wants to be for her boys, the partner she wants to be to her husband, the person she wants to be for herself, and finding ways to include her daughter along the way in this new path she never imagined she would walk. Thank you, Anna, for sharing your light, your pain, and your Carolina.
The daughter of an engineer and a pimp, Klee Wiggins’ comedy reflects both sides of that upbringing.  She’s an intellectual and a shit-talker in equal measure. From incisive crowd work to tales of growing up in the Haight-Ashbury in San Francisco, every set she does is a journey worth taking. She was featured in “Thugs the Musical” by Emmy winner Kevin Avery and has been a panelist & done stand-up at several Cons. These days you can mostly find her working as a writer on a number of projects, a competitor in the Movie Trivia Schmoedown, and as a prolific podcast guest.Social MediaTWITTER @kleewigginsINSTAGRAM @kleewigginssf Be sure to connect with Coach Orlando and the WeAlign community: https://wealign.alignp.com/share/Y0ShuLB2_eEAO7YP?utm_source=manualLearn more about our work with organizations, teams, and people like you. And, of course, we love connecting via social media on Instagram , Facebook , and TikTok .

In this episode of UnstuckAF, Coach Orlando welcomes Arian White, who was one of the thousands of educators who helped our nation's children navigate the COVID pandemic, through lockdown(s) and personal loss. Arian shares how he taught and what he learned as a global pandemic hit close to home.Arian White is a third generation educator and Los Angeles Native.  Eager to see the best of what education had to offer around the globe, Arian spent the summer of 2009 at the Chinju National University of Education teaching English to elementary and middle school students in South Korea.  After becoming aware of the academic rigor and prestige of International schools, in 2013 he spent two years teaching elementary school at the prestigious Cap Cana Heritage School in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The Cap Cana Heritage School is consistently ranked as one of the top 5 educational institutions in the country. While in the Dominican Republic, he was also a Professor of English at Universidad Iberoamericano.                  When Arian wasn’t spending his summers overseas, he worked at various Summer Camps, including working as a counselor at UCLA’s Summer Camp at the Sunset Canyon Recreation Center.  In 2010, before STEM and STEAM were educational catchphrases, Arian worked at Destination Science helping students learn about science through play.  By the end of his time there, he was the site manager overseeing the daily operations, programs, and personnel for their Beverly Hills site.     Most recently, he teaches at a predominantly African American public school in Los Angeles where he hopes to help close The Achievement Gap and share some of the best practices he’s learned around the world with his community.  Because of his abilities as an effective instructor in his first year with the district, he was awarded the "2018 Los Angeles Unified School District Rookie of the Year Award" in a district of roughly 900 schools.  Currently, he also runs a Pan-African STEAM camp called Camp Sankofa. Arian earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley and his Master’s degree from the University of Southern California. Are you ready to get UnstuckAF? Join us for our virtual conference, Wanna Be Startin Somethin: Visit WeAlign, our online community, and learn more about the Align Approach that leads the overwhelmed to overcome. Or find us on social media: Instagram, Facebook, Tik TokAs mentioned: Johnathan Livingston Seagull a story by Richard Bach
They say home is where the heart is. And Cherise Fisher's story, the loving manner in which she cared for and about her father and, eventually, herself is a glowing example of all that can mean. In this episode, Cherise shares how the timing of a trip of a lifetime provided an opportunity to contemplate and celebrate the journey of her lifetime.Cherise Fisher began her career in publishing more than 25 years ago, spending many years editing and publishing several national bestselling and award winning authors at Simon & Schuster and Plume (an imprint of Penguin Random House), where she was Editor-in-Chief.She works with novelists who have multiple compulsively readable yarns in their head (both historical and contemporary), memoirists who showcase the diversity of human experience, and non-fiction writers who seek to provoke, inspire, and educate. Her intention is that all the books she helps bring into the world are relevant, enduring, and help readers maximize their life.Be sure to check out The House of Eve by Sadeqa Johnson and Seven Days In June by Tia Williams!Join  WeAlign to gain access to video episodes of UnstuckAF and to learn more about how you can create the Aligned Success Strategy that will get you unstuck and living a life worthy of who you are.You can also  join the conversation on TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram.  For this sixth episode of our third season,  the description comes from our guest, Linda McLachlan. Linda is a coach, a consultant, a podcaster, and one of the reasons UnstuckAF exists, as Coach Orlando shares in this conversation. These are Linda's thoughts on her podcasting journey:Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.~ T. RooseveltI started my podcasting journey (my first Akimbo workshop in 2020) with a knapsack full of ‘should’ and ‘needs’.I should know what I want to say, I should be ready to say it, I should already know a lot about podcasts and I need a microphone, I need a better laptop, I need more gear…Looking at that list now, I know this was a way of hiding behind my ‘lack’ and ‘not good enough’. That belief that something outside myself would give me the ability to do and share with the world what was/ is already inside of me. Curiosity, perseverance, life experiences uniquely my own and a deep desire to speak, listen and learn from others.Did those other things come along the way? The knowing how /what I want to say and to whom? The gear? yes, bit by bit. But not before a gradual acceptance of my ability to share myself through speaking aloud, into a recording device and hitting publish. Our right, our ability and self-belief that we have something of value to share.  Maybe it’s not always unique but it’s of this time.  It’s for the eyes, ears and hearts of those our work will reach. The light in the darkness, the laughter through sadness.Strike the match.Join Align Performance's online community: WeAlignAlso, connect with us on social media:InstagramLinkedInTikTokFacebook And to learn more about how we do what we do and how we do it, visit our site.

It's been a long time... sorry we left you. But Episode 1 of Season 3 is worth the wait. I certainly think so and I waited over a decade for my chance to sit and talk to Seth Godin, a dude with a brilliant mind and a gift for communicating the brilliant insights it produces. To learn more about Seth, please visit Seth's Blog (https://seths.blog/about/) and while you're there, do yourself a favor and subscribe. So, yes, I hope you'll like, rate, share, follow, and subscribe. But I really hope you'll listen to this episode and the season that follows and hear something that moves you to get unstuck... be unstuck... live unstuck... You know the rest. Now, let's Walk The Line. 💚, Coach OrlandoAs mentioned:ADHD: A hunter in a Farmer's World
In her own words:One of my favorite life mantras is “tell the whole story!” The story did not start with Thalia Y. Bishop, PsyD, Licensed Clinical Psychologist…and it won’t end here either. But two things that have been present throughout the journey are resilience and an intense fear/avoidance of anger. As I enter this next stage of life, there is no way to move forward without looking back at anger and understanding how much it has guided and shaped my whole story! In my own words:It's almost as big an honor to present this story as it has been to have been a part of it.Love ya, sis. 💚 Website: https://www.phoenixwellnessllc.com/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Phoenix-Wellness-Services-LLC-102964565779613Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/phoenixwellnessservices/
