Untold: The Daniel Morgan Murder
Description
The phone hacking scandal that closed News of the World was big, but that was just the tip of the iceberg. At the bottom of that iceberg of 'dark arts' - hacking, burglary, bugging, and bribing bent cops - is the body of Daniel Morgan. It’s been described by an Assistant Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police as “one of the most disgraceful episodes in the entire history of the Metropolitan Police Service.” Over the three decades since Daniel was killed, five failed police investigations and an ongoing panel inquiry, his has become the most investigated murder in British history. The story moves from back streets of London, through the highest echelons of Scotland Yard, to the offices of Rupert Murdoch's best selling newspapers, to the doors of Number Ten Downing Street. If you haven't heard this story, ask yourself, why?

It's a great podcast, but it's a shame they employed a drunk to edit the incidental music.
scummy journos
where's episode 2?
Why is this "stationary" not "stationery" ? E for envelope A for standing stationary in an airy station
Truly outstanding, frightening and shocking revelations that are of serious concern to us all. The commitment, professionalism and bravery in exposing this level of corruption is humbling and reassuring. Thank you, good luck, the truth will out.

I don't understand why some podcasts feel the need to close with horribly campy music. Good podcast just really unpleasant if you are busy when it ends and that noise starts.
I am only a few episodes in but the presentation is very good and the story is already gripping. My heart really goes out to his family and I greatly admire their strength. Hoping for an ending that brings some peace to the Morgan family.

This is a fantastic podcast. The family and friends of Daniel Morgan should be lauded for helping to uncover the bottomless pit of corruption in modern British society.
