Description

Up and Vanished is an investigative true crime podcast hosted by Atlanta filmmaker Payne Lindsey. In Season 1, Payne tackles his first cold case story, the unsolved disappearance of Georgia high school teacher and former pageant queen, Tara Grinstead. The 11-year-old case remains the largest case file in Georgia history and is still unfolding. Season 2 focuses on the disappearance of young mother Kristal Reisinger from a remote mountain town in Colorado. Up and Vanished aims to tell compelling, true stories and give these cases the exposure they deserve.

From the producers of "Up and Vanished" and "To Live and Die in LA" comes a new investigative true crime podcast. In 2014, the Andreacchio family suffered a tragic loss, the mysterious death of 21-year-old Christian Andreacchio. A mere 45-minute investigation ruled his death a suicide, but overwhelming evidence points to murder. Despite road blocks by state and local agencies, Christian's mother Rae has continued to lead the fight for #JusticeForChristian. The family hired their own experts and conducted their own investigation, unearthing new evidence, but authorities refused to act. Host Dennis Cooper takes you inside this 5 year saga, and takes the investigation places that authorities have failed to go, shinning a spotlight on what many believe to be a small town murder and potential cover up. Too bad we can't vote against particular podcasters for awards that are based on fan (non-fan) voting. Also hope the voting for these awards are secured against bot-voting.

obvious classist bias present in your reporting. the woman who talked about "rainbow family" like she had some level of authority on the culture & philosophy was very disappointing to hear. from someone who travels adaptably in many subcultures, I'd appreciate some fact checking before publishing. more appropriate 'label' for the people described is " Drainbow Kids."

They really should not have changed the intro music. It used to be kinda catchy but is awful now.

I cant believe these people criticizing her.... even if she wasnt the best person or mother that still doesnt mean she deserved to be murdered... jeez humans can really be so cruel. I wonder if that guy that talked about all her "wrong decisions" is absolutely perfect. I'm sure hes made mistakes so does that mean he deserved to be murdered or go missing under suspicious circumstances?!

I'm late to this podcast, but I I think it's very odd that the masked voice of 'Darren', Bo's friend, sounds exactly like Payne Lindsey. Exactly the way he talks...
