We're continuing our movie marathon of Poirot adaptations with John Guillermin's 1978 rendition of Death on the Nile, another lavish production with on-location shooting, many extras, and a star-studded cast. This time however, Peter Ustinov takes on the role of Hercule Poirot, and he does a fine job with a slightly different take on the character that nevertheless endears himself to us. We also cover Angela Lansbury's delightfully wacky performance, the cowardly communist, the many death sequences, and other escapades on the boat.
