In his essay, published in MIT Technology Review, entitled "We're not going back to normal," Gideon Lichfield, writes, "The world has changed many times, and it is changing again. All of us will have to adapt to a new way of living, working, and forging relationships. But, as with all changes, there will be some who lose more than most, and they will be the ones who have lost far too much already."
Sustainable communities are places where people want to live and work, now and in the future. They meet the diverse needs of existing and future residents, are sensitive to their environment, and contribute to a high quality of life. They are safe and inclusive, well planned, built and run, and offer equality of opportunity and services for all.
