Putting Instruction

This video is supposed to be Tiger Woods putting on the greens of a golf course. As you click through the video, you will see the proper cues of putting show up. This video would be used for a middle school golf lesson in which the focus was putting. Before teaching this lesson, students would have already learned the proper way to grip a putter and the proper way to keep score during a game of golf. Also, I would have already taught students how to hit the driver and hit irons before teaching the putting lesson. The putting lesson would be at the end of my golf unit because that is the last thing you do at each hole on the golf course. A lesson that I would teach after the putting lesson would be how to read greens, which is why at the end of the video it says “Make sure you read the greens properly!” I would end my putting lessons with that because reading greens properly takes a high level of skill, so we need to work up to that.
