Description
[Marrie Lasater, Mathematics Consultant; Cindy Cliche, Teacher, McFadden School of Excellence, Rutherford County Schools; and Shavon Davis-Louis, Assistant Principal, Mitchell-Neilson Elementary School, Murfreesboro City Schools] Model lessons will be shared using actual video footage from classrooms. These lessons are linked to the Common Core State Standards and the Tennessee State Standards. The first two lessons showcase elapsed time and counting money up to one dollar for second- and third-graders. The last lesson features a fourth-grade class learning about fractions with a point (decimals). All lessons are connected to literature and technology websites.
