Major (Ret) McLendon is an amazing person. I'd have been honored to have served under her leadership. #veteran #VA #Leadership #WWII

I've listened to this podcast a couple of times and each time I listen it brings tears to my eyes. I've always felt guilt about being presented with the Bronze Star for Meritorious Service during Desert Shield/Strom. I've felt like I was an imposter and had not done all that much and probably did not deserve the award. Mr. Rausch explains the reality of service and recognition in a straight forward way that has helped me understand my contribution to the Army and my soldiers.
