When Hyundai showed off their Concept Car, the N Vision 74 it appeared that Hydrogen Powered Cars were on the rise.  At first you may think sometimes concepts don't live up to the released vehicle and that's true, but imagine if your car didn't just have design and aerodynamics to overcome, what if it had an entire infrastructure to overcome.  Today we'll discuss the mountain that Hydrogen powered cars has to overcome to be for sale anywhere.  The price points it would have to overcome to be viable sales and the absolute reworking the automotive industry would need to become available.  We go over it all here and talk about how to fix some of those things and why we've been sold a bad bill of goods from the very start, turning the N Vision 74 into basically click bait for environmental automotive ideology.  All on today's episode of #CarSideChat. After Dream Ride in Connecticut I began to receive pictures about this new brand I should look out for called Pininfarina. What was weird about that is they've been making cars since 1930! Most notably designing for Ferrari. That's not the only cars they've been involved with. Cadillac, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Maserati, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, the list of cars these guys have designed is a mile long! So why haven't you heard of them? Because they're coachbuilders. They design the look and feel of vehicles, while the automaker makes the suspension and power for the vehicle. So today we're going to explain why Pininfarina went from a coachbuilder nobody knows about to an automaker that everyone wants to pay attention too.
