That's your one and only go-to label on a deadly insurrection, "theater"? Unlike the very hallmarks of theater, there was nothing remotely entertaining or fake about that day. Innocent people were injured and KILLED. What exactly is "theater" about that? I can respect a difference of opinion, we certainly don't do enough of that. But calling it that just minimizes the shit outta what actually happened, and it reveals your honest take. I don't understand why so many can't (or perhaps refuse to) recognize the gravity of what occurred that day. No matter what side of the isle you're on, these morally piss poor remarks are beyond disappointing. Just being honest. I tried, I no longer can. Best of luck.

I think a compromised law enforcement is one component of a scenario in which a higher proportion of people disappear.
Well done and thank you for pointing to these lesser known cases. Even though we now know of human trafficking as a crime and a legal concept, there is still too much denial and "skepticism". It is not farfetched at all to at least wonder if law enforcement could be complicit in this, and some similar, disappearances of women.
