Grace Phipps (born May 4, 1992) is an American actress best known for her roles as Amy Martin in the television series The Nine Lives of Chloe King and April Young in The Vampire Diaries. Phipps was born in Austin, Texas, raised in Boerne, Texas and San Antonio, Texas, where she graduated from Robert E. Lee High School, and The North East School of the Arts, majoring in Musical Theatre. Following her 2010 high school graduation, Phipps moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting and immediately landed the role as Bee in the remake Fright Night, as well as originating the role of Amy on the cancelled series The Nine Lives of Chloe King. In 2012 she was cast as the new recurring character April Young on The Vampire Diaries.

The Vampire Diaries executive producer Julie Plec skillfully juggles work in film and television as both a producer and a writer. Previously, Plec was a co-executive producer of Kyle XY. She actually produced the pilot for Kyle XY as the head of Benderspink's television production arm, then joined the show as a writer/producer in its first season. Plec shared the showrunner duties through the show's three-year run.
Plec's other produced television credits include Wasteland and Dawson's Creek. Past feature co-producing credits include Scream 3, Greg Berlanti's Broken Hearts Club, Wes Craven's Cursed and The Breed.
Steven R. McQueen stars in the CW’s hit series, The Vampire Diaries, as Jeremy Gilbert, Elena’s brother who has the ability to talk to ghosts after being brought back to life by witches at the end of season 2. Steven was born in Los Angeles California and is the grandson of actor Steve McQueen. Steven first appeared in an episode of Threshold as Jordan Peters in 2005 before landing the role of Kyle Hunter on the TV series, Everwood. He has also guest starred in several different TV series through the years such as Numb3rs as Craig Ezra, Without a Trace as Will Duncan and in CSI: Miami as Keith Walsh, all in 2008. Also in 2008, he stared in the TV movie, Minutemen, as Derek Beaugard.
Sam Huntington currently stars in SyFy’s, Being Human, as Josh who is
a werewolf and a socially awkward hospital worker. Sam was born in Peterborough, New Hampshire, which is where he began acting at the age of 9 in his family’s theater. From 1991 to 1994 he was cast in four major productions at Peterborough Players. He later moved to New York with his mom to begin his career in screen acting. He began doing
commercials and some voiceovers before signing a three-movie contract with Walt Disney. Sam has starred in a number of films over the years such as Detroit Rock City, Not Another Teen Movie, Raising Genius, Sleepover, Superman Returns and most recently in 2011 in Dylan Dog: Dead of Night as Marcus Deckler. In addition to film he has also guest
starred in several different TV series such as CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, Veronica Mars and was the recurring character of Andy Claybrook in the series Cavemen before landing his current role on Being Human.
Steven Yeun stars in AMCs The Walking Dead as Glenn, one of the survivors of the zombie apocalypse. Steven was born in Seoul, South Korea and immigrated to Canada and then to the Troy, Michigan with his family. After watching his college’s improv group he became interested in acting and later ended up studying theater in Chicago. He later moved to Los Angeles in 2009. He has worked in a variety of things from commercials for Best Buy, Apple and Milky Way to characters voices in the video game Crysis and Crysis Warhead. In addition to The Walking Dead he has also been in several short films, The Kari Files, Carpe Millennium and Blowout Sale. He has also starred in several shows such as The Big Bang Theory as Sheldon’s old roommate, Sebastian and in Law & Order: Los Angeles as Ken Hasui.
