Alicia Castillo is an agronomist from Universidad Central de Venezuela, she is a prolific investor based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is part of Sand Hill Angels and she currently runs the wealthing.com institute. Alicia has written a number of books, “Funding your million dollar idea” and created more than 18 companies.  She runs a nonprofit Boxoflife to support Ancianato San Jose in Aragua Venezuela. In this interview Alicia explains her approach to investing in companies and her passion for supporting entrepreneurs of all backgrounds, women and what in the US is known as “minority groups”. Alicia created the first seed capital fund in Chile. Before being an investor in Silicon Valley, Alicia made a career in research and product development in Bayer and Shell in Venezuela for the agricultural industry. She championed laws and regulation that balanced productivity and the environment, fostering collaboration across industry players.

JN Silva is a Venezuelan Photographer and digital artist. He was raised in the New York city area.   JN Silva has done work with major brands like Nike, Sony, Don Julio and many others. Michael Antonorsi is a Biomedical Engineer turned chef. Cacao runs through his blood from "Aguasanta" a small farm in Venezuelan known for its fine cacao. He founded Chuao Chocolatier in San Diego, California more than 20 years ago. "Chef Michael has been named top ten chocolatier in North America by dessert professional magazine and has received international acclaim for his chocolate creations, with TV appearances on the food network, cooking channel, dr. phil, and cnn en espanol." In this interview we learn about how this project was conceived and Michale's journey from Idea to scaling a chocolate brand in the US.

He built his first 'fintech' at the school cantina that was forced to sell food without cash and hyperinflation. Victor shares his story building  his startup during the Covid lockdown.
