Matt, Ted, and Travis pop on to chat about both the match that was - a disappointing home loss to BVB - and the month that was - a disappointing three points out of a possible 12. Along the way, they ask "what's more likely" regarding a number of topics, ranging from points in the league to points scored on the pitch!
It's an odd week, so why not an odd episode as our technology at first doesn't work, then does work, then decides to end Travis probably just in time.David joins us to chat the week that was, a great opening win versus Viking FK to start VfB's UCL run followed by a disappointing loss on the road at Stuttgart's home-away-from-home, Hoffenheim. Along the way, the guys chat the Frauen, consistencies in the first five total matches, and what should be concerning while what should provide hope going forward. To paraphrase David - who enjoys the final word - "this is awkward." Indeed!
Travis goes solo on this one as travel and technical issues keep Jake and David off the pod. As a result, Travis speed-runs through the week that was, from the Frauen "winning" a point in their third match of the season to the fellas getting their first win of the season at home in an impressive display versus the Billy Goats.
