Content warning: discussion of cigarette addiction.I crossed the one-month tobacco free marker this week! In today's episode, I'm sharing some personal thoughts and strategies for self-actualization through a writing exercise on Maslow's hierarchy of needs, along with some original poetry. I also take my soap-box on mindfulness meditation to task. Thanks for listening!
Content warning: discussion of cigarette addiction.Today I am 24 days smoke-free! This episode, I'm sharing some thoughts on society's demands, and thoughts on interactions with those experiencing homelessness via a personal audio essay. I'm having a great time learning about the podcast format, and planning to keep this a weekly experience for y'all (and for myself!).
Content warning: discussion of cigarette addiction. This week's audio collage contains a reflection on the longer term stress I'm expecting to continue encountering, and an original poem for calming. I'm two weeks (!) smoke free, and while I had a very difficult week, I'm glad I was able to calm myself, reflect, and flex some coping skills to get through it.
Content warning: discussion of cigarette addiction. This week's audio collage contains some original music, and reflections while walking around the neighborhood. I'm one week smoke free, and hope that you're taking steps, no matter how small they may seem, toward a healthier life as well.
Content warning: discussion of cigarette addiction. This is my quit week! No more cigarettes. This week's episode contains some reflections through poetry and a stroll around the neighborhood, all focused on the vice of smoking (touching on social media and alcohol as well), and related challenges, motivations, and conversations. How do we turn our worst into our best? Breathe along with me, and maybe we can learn to quit together.
