As we journey through the book of Revelation this term, we thought it would be helpful (and fun!) create this podcast that goes a little deeper into some of the themes and passages we’re exploring on a Sunday.Revelation isn’t always the easiest book to get our heads around, and there’s plenty that can leave us with questions, so each week we’ll pick up where the Sunday preach leaves off — unpacking what we’ve heard, exploring some of the things we didn’t have time to cover, and chatting through what it all means for us today.____________________Follow this link for resources to equip and encourage you as we journey through the last book of the Bible as a church:https://vineyardcardiff.org/revelation-series

And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, ‘Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.’ 2) At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it. 3) And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper and ruby. A rainbow that shone like an emerald encircled the throne. 4) Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on them were twenty-four elders. They were dressed in white and had crowns of gold on their heads. 5) From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder. In front of the throne, seven lamps were blazing. These are the seven spirits of God. 6) Also in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal. In the centre, round the throne, were four living creatures, and they were covered with eyes, in front and behind. 7) The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle. 8) Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all round, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying:‘“Holy, holy, holyis the Lord God Almighty,”who was, and is, and is to come.’9) Whenever the living creatures give glory, honour and thanks to him who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever, 10) the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:11) ‘You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honour and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.’_______________Recorded at the North Site - 27Sep2026

Sunday 20th September 2026 - West and North SitesSunday 27th September 2026 - Central AM & PMSpeaker - Matt MeadsMatt continues our series taking a close look at the last book in our Bibles - Revelation - exploring what it says about Jesus, who is its central character, and the hope that we find in Him._______________Revelation 2 v 1-71) To the angel of the church in Ephesus write:These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands. 2) I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked people, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false. 3) You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary.4) Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. 5) Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. 6) But you have this in your favour: You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. 7) Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God._______________Recorded at the North Site - 2&Sep2026Visit https://vineyardcardiff.org/revelation-series for resources to equip and encourage you as we journey through the last book of the Bible as a church.
