Nearly 45,000 Hokies fans packed Lane Stadium for the annual Maroon-Orange game, leaving Head Coach Justin Fuente awestruck by the support of Hokie Nation in Blacksburg. You’ll hear the longest-tenured member of the coaching staff, defensive boss Bud Foster, on his 30th Spring Game. Then, new Offensive Coordinator Brad Cornelsen describes the feeling of his very first coaching experience in Lane Stadium. We’ll hear from Senior Fullback Sam Rogers, and finally, a man who is trying to make himself into a two-sport star for the Hokies, in Basketball and Football this season, Devin Wilson. After 30 years on the Hokies staff, Defensive Coordinator Bud Foster has become a Blacksburg institution. His “Lunch Pail Defense” is a symbol of hard work, preparation and dedication, qualities that Bud personifies for his players year-in, year-out.
