On December 14, 1978, six-year-old Christi Lynn Farni testified in front of a grand jury to describe the abuse she suffered from her father. Just hours later, she was reported missing to the Medford, Oregon, police department. Her case is now the oldest unsolved case of a missing child in the entire county. Christie is white with brown hair and brown eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was 3’8” and weighed approximately 50lbs. She also spoke with a slight speech impediment, has a burn scar on her chest, and her ears are pierced. As of the recording of this episode, she would be 53 years old. In 1984, the Tapp family made a home at 13 Kelvin Drive in the Melbourne suburb of Ferntree Gully, Victoria, Australia. It’s been described as a safe, peaceful suburb with a near-zero crime rate. 35-year-old Margaret Tapp thought it was the ideal place to raise her two children, 9-year-old Seana and 14-year-old Justin. Anaiah Walker entered the Arizona foster care system at age 13. Before her 14th birthday, she was trafficked by adults posing as teenagers online. By age 15, she ran away from several group homes and was officially listed as a missing child with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Just after her 16th birthday, she was supposed to testify against her abusers in court, but on May 22, 2020, Anaiah was found dead in a ditch on Interstate 10 near Watson Road. Her cause of death was high-velocity impact. She has never received justice. The Buckeye Police Department is searching for a 2016 to 2018 Honda Civic EX or LX in the color Midnight Burgundy Pearl. They say the owner may have replaced the driver’s side door mirror cover, the front bumper, and the left front fog light cover after Anaiah’s death. 9-year-old Melodee Buzzard was last seen in Colorado, near the Utah border, on October 9th, 2025. She has brown curly hair, brown eyes, is approximately 4’6” tall, and weighs between 60 and 100lbs. Her mother, Ashlee Buzzard, was driving a rented 2024 white Chevy Malibu. The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that she drove with at least two different license plates, a California plate issued by the rental car company, 9MNG101, as well as a New York license plate HCG9677. How much of what we watch in true crime entertainment is actually true? The new season of Netflix's Monster is a global phenomenon. But in its telling of the Ed Gein story, it presents a young woman named Evelyn Hartley as one of his confirmed victims. In Austin, Texas, in 1991, the city was on the verge of becoming the place we know today, a tech hub, a cultural destination. But back then, it was still a big town that felt small, a place that believed itself safe from the kind of darkness that haunted bigger cities. At the Hillside strip mall on West Anderson Lane, there was a little shop called "I Can't Believe It's Yogurt!" It was a symbol of that every day American life… a place for after-school treats, first dates, and a first job. A place of simple, ordinary innocence. Buton the cold night of December 6, 1991, this symbol of innocence became the scene of an unspeakable crime. An act of such brutal violence that it would steal four young lives and leave a wound on the soul of the city that would fester for nearly 34 years. Amy, Eliza, Jennifer, and Sarah would become permanently etched into the city's memory. Their story became a decades-long quest, not just for a killer, but for the truth. On September 14, 2001, 20-year-old Amber Shawnell Hoopes vanished from her grandparents' Idaho Falls home. Amber was last seen reading a magazine and watching TV around 10:35 p.m., but by 1:00 a.m., she was gone. Her family quickly suspected foul play. Suspicion immediately focused on Keith "Mark" Hescock, a disgruntled former employee of Amber's grandfather. Amber is white, about 5’5”, with brown hair and brown eyes, and weighed approximately 140 pounds when she disappeared. She also has vitiligo with some white colored spots on her upper left arm and left leg. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, gray boxer shorts, and her knee-length terry cloth robe. 17-year-old Blake Chappell went missing in October 2011 after attending his homecoming dance. His body was found in a nearby creek two months later. The autopsy confirmed Blake died from a gunshot wound to the head and his death was ruled a homicide. But in May of 2014, that tranquility was shattered. Russell was found brutally murdered in his garage, decapitated. His head was missing from the scene, and Shirley? She had vanished without a trace. In July of 2015, two-year-old DeOrr Kunz Jr. vanished without a trace during a family camping trip in Idaho. For years, this case has been shrouded in mystery, swirling with unanswered questions, shifting theories, and heartbreaking dead ends, but now, over a decade later, new information has come to light. DeOrr Kunz Jr. was last seen on July 10th, 2015, near Leadore, Idaho, in Lemhi County. He has hazel eyes and, at that time, blonde hair. He was approximately 3 feet tall and weighed about 30lbs. In 1996, 13-year-old Rachel Marie Mellon-Skemp stayed home sick from school. By the end of the day, she, along with a blanket and two pillows from her bed, had vanished into the freezing Illinois winter. There were no witnesses and no trail leading to where Rachel may have gone, and the only story we have comes from the last person to see her alive. Rachel Marie Mellon-Skemp was last seen on January 31st, 1996, in Bolingbrook, Illinois. She is Asian and White with black hair and hazel eyes. At the time of her disappearance, her hair was shoulder length, she was about 5 feet tall, and weighed approximately 80lbs.
