Keshav Tiwari is a class XII student at the Doon School Dehradun, pursuing the IBDP curriculum. Apart from being an avid debater, dancer, MUNer, and writer, he loves engaging in deep, meaningful conversations regarding issues of pertinence, and philosophy. As a feminist, he talks of the movement as one of gender equality and states the need for greater involvement of men in the feminist movement. Ms. Shalini Kedia, the chairperson of The Fragile X Society of India initiated this organisation in the year 2003 with a compassion to support families of children affected with Fragile X Syndrome. Starting with one family, moving to two and three families, she today has a strength of more than a thousand families. Some with one child affected and some with four. They are all over India, most in cities and some in smaller towns. She has strived to extend her knowledge and support to each family who has reached out to her. Mr Aditya Narain Singh is a producer and director who has contributed to several cinematic projects over the years. One of his most recent projects, which is also relevant to today’s interview, is his stint as producer on ZEE5’s Original Film “377 Ab-normal” last year. The film won the award for the best Web Film across digital platforms and delves into the amendment of Article 377 of the Indian Constitution which previously condemned homosexuality.
