Mamala Sekhmet as I began to call Kamala and Tim, the embodiment of the Sacred Masculine, are the topics of today's final show of Voices of the Sacred Feminine on Blog Talk. One of the reasons marijuana was made a Class III drug by the Harrison Act in 1928 with opium and heroin is because, like the opium poppy, cannabis can be homegrown. The pharmaceutical companies wanted to control the poppy for an end product (morphine) and cannabis because it is good for a multiplicity of uses. This put the robust US hemp industry out of business. It also prevented any research into how cannabis works and how it could be used, which is necessary to be granted a GRAS designation (generally regarded as safe) by the FDA. Mind you, many prescription drugs have this designation without anyone having any idea how they work and after being studied only in young healthy white males (but that topic is for a separate discussion!) The good news is that cannabis looks like it might be federally designated a Class I drug like Tylenol soon. Fingers crossed.
one (sub)argument here (if I am understanding you correctly), is that our terms referring to the set of figurines with feminine sex characteristics are likely misnomers, because there is no cut and dry way to divide them up (bc we don't have enough context, in some cases, to do more than think it's equally possible that the so called "lion man" is likely female as it is male). And thus, that there is (on parity of reasoning) no way to tell if above set of figurines has any characteristic in common other than sex characteristics? no evidence of worship of the regenerative nature of our experience and our environment?
Kare, some free unsolicited advice. take a page out of Barbara Walters interviews. listen more and talk less. you are constantly interrupting your guests and interjecting your opinions about their area of expertise. learn to listen!

And again there's so much knowledge in one place. each show is a class, A sacred class. I thought today's show with heather about her new Parallax deck was fascinating. I really don't know much about tarot although I have tried to pick it up a number of times. I am working with the motherpeace deck and my other deck is shekhinah mountainwater's daughters of the moon Which are both feminists decks. I know absolutely nothing about kabbalah. Heather's explanation of using the parallelex deck as a spiritual practice was very unique. Most people use3 torot decks to look at the future. I thought this was a really interesting show. I have worked with shekinah's runes before and for a long time women in circle of Aradia were painting them with goldi paint on semi-precious stones. They were beautiful. I'd really like to see Molly's wood carved runes. and I'm interested in the booklet about the runes as well. Molly sounds like she's spinning a lot of plates in the air. she is priestessing and doing many other things as well. I didn't catch all of them her activities as she spoke very quickly. I did catch the drift about what priestissing is and Priestessing isn't from both her and Karen. Personally I believe if a person believes she is Priestessing and is genuinely sincere I think she's priestessing. not everybody can do the work of going to an online seminary or do a three or four-year online program. we all need to remember that we are practicing neo- paganism and there are so many different sects. from what I did here and catch the drift that's what Karen and Molly
I do have to say as a child I talked to the fairies and I knew there were fairies and other creatures that grown-ups couldn't hear or see. I also created all kinds of fantastic world that these fairies and other entities lived in and things that happened to them. it is a bit odd as I am a Capricorn. ted practices shamanism and has been for many years. He uses it in his therapy practice. it's too complicated to explain in this space. if I'm correct Karen you asked if some people can't get into trance , perhaps, the better question is who CAN get into trance. I am highly suggestive and I can get into trance probably with a finger snap. however I have a lot of experience going into trance. I believe all the recreational drugs have helped a great deal. first there was marijuana then there was LSD mushrooms, peyote. I started getting high and going into trance when I was about 15. now if we were doing LSD the trip was always structured and there was always someone who had not done any drug
this topic is one of them most important topics in the world right now. however, I could only hear bits and pieces of this conversation because it was very scratchy sounding. There was some noise in the background that almost drowned Manda out. also she was very soft-spoken and had an English accent. the best that I gleaned was we need to make some kind of shift before we make the final shift to conscious living. I liked her description of group Consciousness and her visions. it would be great if you can get her back and her recording was clear and I could hear her. I know she has important things to say.

this show about boudica and Joan of Arc was fascinating! I love hearing the true history of boudia and her being an awesome Warrior! And all the information about the Celts was new. and I learned a lot ! I also learned a lot about Joan of Arc that I didn't know. these shows of Karen are just a must-listen! Keep it up Karen ! And that this show was so packed. with so much information I'm going to listen to it again. I highly. Recommend this show 2 anyone who's interested in the truth about Boudicca and Joan of Arc. manda has written books about these women as well as books about shamanism. check out her website, which is her name. first I have to say I really enjoy Jack Dempsey and I whatever topic he's talking about. he seems so well-educated and his interests are so varied. he showed me a life that could be lived In puritanical times which was so antithetical go to the Puritans! he actually talked to the Native Americans and learned about them and gave them respect! I also love Jack because he so feminist! someday I would like to read the book he talked about. I like that life could be lived in what was considered a terrible time and typical to the Puritan! he actually talked to the Native americans and learned about them and gave them respect! I love Jack because he's so feminist! someday I would like to be the book about living in America in the 1600s.
this show with Charlene Spetnek was so exciting! I loved her new interpretation of the goddesses. I have read her book lost goddesses of early Greece. But it was a really long time ago I really don't remember everything. I also heard her speak once a long time ago and I can't remember what it was about. I remember she was very interesting and prepared. it was so interesting how she explained how she uncovered the pre patriarchal meaning of the goddesses. it must have been like reading between the lines. I especially like that Pandora is a wonderful beautiful goddess! my dog's name is Pandora and she is so fun. She's quite a trickster though. of course I was aware of the Goddess version of Persephone and Demeter.i I really liked how athena was really goddess of so many positive things. that's my middle name and I chose it and I knew she wasn't a war goddess. maybe a Warrior 4 peace it'll be really interesting to hear some more goddess fairy Tales. thank you and Charlene so much!
this was a very awesome show. I love that Jeanette says that God is not three guys in the sky. and the talk was just really interesting and I enjoyed it and learned so much. Jeanette certainly has a different perspective about religion. I love to hear everybody's take religion and especially the sacred feminine!
I thought Layney's approach to Dreaming was really interesting. I've never heard an approach like that or a way of dreaming and figuring out the dreams. it made a lot of sense to me. and the points of Entry were really interesting. the dreams that she discussed were fascinating. I really like the pig On the nipple! that really made me giggle. she seems to really enjoy what you doing and is really terrific at it . I do something at night that is helpful for me if I have a problem or something I want an answer to whether it be mundane or spiritual. I ask myself 4 the solution right before I go to sleep. I often wake up with the answer. nobody taught me that I just did it. and it works really well. I don't know if you've ever heard of a man named Jeremy Taylor, he's pretty famous for his dream analysis and he is very interesting. I haven't heard any other shows about dreaming on your shows. I had no idea which is or why is women where harassed all the way back to 1400 BCE. being a solitary witch in a Beach town in Ventura California is no big deal. no I don't walk around dressed as a witch and a pentacle around my neck. I was really interested in hearing about this topic! especially pot and spiritual practice . I am using CBD cream on my aches and pains and it's just magic. and yes I have smoked the weed many times for many years. and I can tell you it does wonders 4 your body and your mind. I meditate at a Buddhist temple near my house and at the uu church I go to .there are two Buddhist temples near where I live and they are Rockin. yes the nuns and monks meditate. at the Vietnamese Buddhist temple they have constant celebrations with food and singing and dancing and the invite the community. And once a year they have a big huge Festival in a large venue with booths and lots of food and costumes and dancing. they are really happy people. at the Japanese Buddhist temple once a year they have a celeb
this was a really great show! I learned so much about the Museum of women from Ava I really want to come down and visit and hope I can soon.and i learned so much mere about the goddess Temple. I think ava is an amazing Priestess and her Queen classes sound extremely interesting. she and I feel the same way about patriarchy. her explanation of men in groups having their testosterone levels going up when they get together makes total sense to me. I think men need women as you say 2 run a company, a university and of course the government. since this interview we do have many more women in the federal government. and in fact we have about six very strong women running for president. l would love a woman president! I loved the idea of the show, but Toni's voice was so soft I could barely hear her. I do have a hearing problem ,even with my hearing aids I couldn't make her out. just curious? do you pre interview your guests? there have been a few others that I couldn't understand because of their accent. the subjects were interesting but I couldn't understand. it was a bummer!
