Atherosclerosis, a fancy name for the clogging of arteries.  Whether it be fats, cholesterol or even nicotine, these blockages can lead to a heart attack.  Dr. Splaver warns that symptoms don’t usually occur until an artery is at least 70% blocked. Atherosclerosis can be slowed or stopped but is much harder to reverse.  If you have risk factors for coronary disease Dr. Splaver suggests a non-invasive imaging test to stay on top of the issue. _______________________________ Welcome to Warrior Health.
