May the progress women who came before us made, or the rights they went without, never be forgotten or taken for granted.
Inspired by the likes of Susan B. Anthony, Madam C.J. Walker, and most recently Hillary Rodham Clinton, Kamal Harris, and many others like them, upon whose shoulders we stand.

The only thing we should not do is do nothing.
It's a FEW against MILLIONS of us...
The time to do ANYthing and EVERYthing we can, no matter how small, is NOW!!
1. Do NOT OBEY in advance, they're counting on that
2. Stay focused. This huge sh*tshow is meant to paralyze us.
3. Do NOT COMPLY w/o resisting, make it hard to FW
4. SPEAK OUT, silence is acceptance
5. SHOW you can be COUNTED on / a FAFO attitude
6. Seek information and SHARE it with everyone
7. Undocumented or not, KNOW & EXERCISE your rights
8. Resist: prepare to act and STOP/SLOW them down
9. Organize, plan, be ready to take RESISTANT action
10. Be team up with like-minded people, Bluesky… we’re stronger together
Act as if we were invincible... because we ARE.
We WILL win this. We WILL win!!
"When someone SHOWS you who they are, believe them the FIRST time." - Maya Angelou

** At any given time there’s chaos in the world, executive orders can/are being sign into being
** What’s for SHOW/INTIMIDATION (deportations in Military planes), and what is actually taking effect?
** Let not our peace be stolen… while STLL letting our voices be heard… because silence is acceptance
** Budgets being cut, FDIC being done away with, DEI being cancelled… most, if not all of these, are being challenged by lawsuits having been filed.

These are not so much “show notes” per se, but just MY bullet points, which I use to try and stay on track as I speak.
** Take it one day at time… are you ok RIGHT NOW?
** Do NOT obey/submit in advance.
** Stand up for those who cannot… if we (those who can withstand the winds) do not stand up, what does that make us??
** Support/back those (back the blue) who risk everything to protect us…
** Silence is ACCEPTANCE
** Why risk it all… we’re going to die eventually, I would rather die for a good cause than just die.
** Even if it’s “not you” right now… one day it will be you/us
** Know your rights, make it HARD to be harassed… arrest me, jail me, for doing nothing… SUE THEM!!
** If we give in, we empower them over us…

Recent events have gotten me thinking more about the meaning of neutrality than I normally would.
It’s so easy for our brain to spiral into darkness, fear, sadness
or other unpleasant emotions.
So, how do we bring it back to a neutral zone as soon as
possible (if we’re ready) so we can do life?
One thing I know for sure is… life will always throw us
curveballs from time to time… be it sickness or troubles of all sorts.
Here are some things I find helpful:
* It’s ok to be/feel negative emotions… fighting them too
much may be the worse things we can do.
* It’s always been this way
* It’ll always be this way… more or less
* Refocus on all the beauty and good in your life
* Sometimes we have it wrong… our imagination at its best
(like maybe the next four years won’t be as bad as many of us think)

I’m seeing, and feeling, more fragility in the last couple
of weeks than I have in quite a while… due to the election results… but it’s mostly due to where our focus is.
Is ignorance bliss?
If ignorance is bliss, do you remember a time in your life when you suffered greatly, only to look back now and ask yourself… “what the heck was I thinking?”.
During the depression not everyone was poor… who prospered?
During the pandemic not everyone was lonely… why were some people not lonely?
Who is sad/mad/afraid/ now? …
Who is happy/joyful/excited with the election results?
What to do in the next 4 years (or in any difficult
time really that’s outside of our control)
** Are we ok right now? Can we breathe, eat, see,
hear, have a roof over our head, are we safe?
** Are our loved ones safe, healthy, fed?
** Are others in our same situation experiencing a
different result? If so, why?
What can we do to remain safe, and to not let our
situation make things worse?
How can we get to the other side having used this
hardship to improve ourselves?
Let’s make hard times count for some good!

This 2024 election more than any other I can remember, has been the most shocking and divisive,
not just across party lines, but within families
across our nation!
Marginalized communities are being targeted
with things like mass deportations.
Threats have been made about prosecuting
political “enemies”
Women are facing/experiencing the erasing/turning
back women’s rights

The following statement gave me cause for deep contemplation…
“We hurt our own feelings by thinking we mean more to people
than we really do.”
I agree up to the ‘thinking’
part, but not on the ‘mean more’ part… that part we actually do not know, and will never know.

When is “enough” enough?
For me it’s… ALWAYS, and NEVER!
Sometimes for me it is enough not to have to leave the comfort of my home to earn money to meet my basic needs.
Other times… let’s talk about why "enough" is not always enough.

When we lose control of our emotions, we give our power away to another person, or a circumstance!
Being able to manage our temper is a sign of a good leader, a kind person, a person that can be trusted.
Losing our cool is a sign of having low self-esteem, where we take things personally, to our own detriment, and make others miserable!
Being able to control our emotions, especially negative ones, is good for everyone!
Let’s practice and model calmness, and let’s not surrender our personal power to anyone or anything.

[Stay to the end for a funny Ep 113: The Fires We Burn
edit/remix by my husband!]
Growth and evolution are humanity’s nature, an innate desire… we can count on that forever.
How do I know if I want to grow & evolve?
If you feel stagnant, bored, sad, wish to do things you see others do but you think you can’t do.
How do I know what my purpose is?
We humans have MANY purposes at different phases of life. We have seasons… birth, teen, wife, mom, adult, a senior, etc. These are some clues.
We have different starting and ending points to our seasons as well.
Finding what our purpose(s) is for US…
You will feel it… unfulfillment, feeling there should be more to life, etc.
Follow your desires, search what your soul is calling you to do, to experience, to share, to leave behind!!

First, the “how” of unlocking the key to anything we want in life keeps being revealed to us over and over, but we keep missing the opportunity to grab it!
You/we all have ideas that pop up as we go about our everyday lives, all of us do… but what do most of us do with them? NOT a thing!
We also miss many ideas that are floating around everywhere… example: how to pay off your mortgage, improve our marriage, etc.
Also: You ever talk to someone and mention an idea?? that
you think they would benefit from and they say something, “Oh, yes” and it appears as though they already know it, but are not doing anything about it? WE ALL do that.
Earl Nightingale referred to it as “know-it-alls with
unpaid debts and empty bank accounts”!
So: Let’s put our thinking & listening caps on and be on the lookout, not for ideas/breakthroughs and being ready to receive them… the ideas WILL come!
BE ready for your brain to say NO/disregard the idea as a
good one… it will come up with a list of why an idea is not good.
Ideas are always coming (from outside & INSIDE of us), but willing to seize them/say yes! Listen to the part on my video on investing in Real Estate and paying off your mortgage.
Not all ideas will be good, but we won’t know unless we try them (52/year).
Always have FUN.
LOVING something is a win/win (fashion, shopping, home
organizing, home decor, garden design), and you can do it all or most of it ONLINE!
HUGE change may not come overnight, but it will come…
it’s like working out and progress is not visible right away.
Things will get EASIER.
Use your phone’s NOTEs app.
I’m doing it, I’m going… even if it’s a snail’s pace, but I’m going!
Are you coming?
Let’s go!!!

We’ve all seen (and been) people who believe that our
life’s results are outside of our control.
My hope is that, if you are thinking that now, from now
on you never again believe that your destiny is in someone else’s hands and not your own.
No one is in charge of us and our lives…
Not our work boss
Not our government
Not our husband
Not our parents, after 18
We do not ever HAVE to do anything if don’t want to… not
even a job, or that job! There’s power in knowing this!
I decide what work to do, who I marry, or NOT marry.
If I don’t like the work I do I can acquire a new skill
and get a new job.
If I don’t like how little money I make, I can increase
the quality of the value I can provide and get paid more for that value.
Even at work I’m always my own boss, because I’m in
charge of where I work, and what work I do… I AM IN CHARGE OF ME ALWAYS!
My work boss is in charge of him/herself and his/her job,
not me, that’s my job.
So now knowing and remembering that you’re always in
charge of all aspects of your life, how will you move forward?
Will you stay WHERE you are and HOW you are, or are you going to choose a new direction, a new horizon?
The whole point of this episode is to not stay stuck, by
choice!
So, let’s plan and let’s go!

What’s the difference between real and self-imposed victimization?
Our thoughts!
In the movie Room, as little Jack reads the line
“For you see, out-of-the-way things had happened
lately, that Alice begun to think that very few things
indeed were really impossible.”
From the book Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, this
girl’s thoughts changed in one instant, although she had been, and most importantly had believed she was a victim.
Compare this to times in your life when you felt like a
victim, and how you acted… it was something someone said or did, or something happened.
What’s the difference between a victim and a victor? The way we think.
We see this in movies all the time, but we know that art
imitates life.
How can we retell our story in a way that we are victors,
not victims? Even when (and especially when) we are also the villain.
Things to consider if you’ve felt like a victim, a prisoner, when in fact the door was wide open:
1. Own your part in having co-created your current state (bad choices, over eating, wrong guy, over spending) … feeling powerless!
2. Decide to own your future journey from here on out
3. Own when you don’t take action… don’t blame external circumstances
4. Adapt (start) an attitude of “I got myself into this, I’ll get myself out it”
5. Use your influence, your VISION (The Power of Vision Ep 97), your VOICE… take action and SPEAK your future into being.
6. It’s ok to experience pain, but don’t allow it to become part of you, don’t carry it!
Travel LIGHT!!
