Sadie is so pumped to get the full story of Letitia Wright, star of Marvel’s “Black Panther” franchise and executive producer of the faith-based movie “The Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot.” Letitia shares the details of her early life in rural Guyana, before moving to London and discovering at a young age her talent and passion for acting. Sadie is awed by Letitia’s story of faith in God and His leadership of her life, as well as the uncommonly personal nature of her relationship with Him. Letitia cites her motivation to not only act, but produce films with meaning and heart as the driving force behind founding her own production company. Demi Tebow is a speaker and author who was crowned Miss Universe in 2017, she just celebrated 4 years of marriage to Tim Tebow, and today she joins Sadie for a very special conversation about where we can find our true identity and the origin of our confidence — and how to overcome the careless words that have broken us in the past. Demi opens up about a time in her life where her faith was rattled and why she decided that rather than asking, "Why God?" she's learned to ask, "Where can I find God's purpose in what I'm going through?" Sadie shares about an unexpected emotional moment she had in the music studio when she was recording her first song, recalling when she felt absolutely broken — and what helped her feel strong again. Sadie finally gets to meet Tasha Cobbs Leonard, a Grammy Award-winning Gospel musician whose hit songs “Break Every Chain” and “Dove’s Eyes” have been inspiring Sadie for years. Tasha opens up about the wild ride her career has been, including winning a Grammy and losing her beloved father in the same week. Sadie and Tasha share their stories of how unexpected fame challenged their faith, and Tasha proves that even when we’re waiting for God's promises to come to full fruition, there’s still work we can do for his purpose. Sadie digs into the love story of LO Worship team members and lifelong friends, Reeves and Lydia Walker. First though, they announce a brand-new single from LO Worship is dropping THIS WEEK y'all! Then Lydia and Reeves reveal how they came to find a passion in worship, and Reeves paints a powerful picture of how a Godly man should treat a woman he’s pursuing. Lydia gives all credit to the Lord for working out the timing of their story, and Sadie points out that it’s never too late to have purity in a dating relationship, no matter what’s already happened. Tara-Leigh Cobble is the host of the very popular "The Bible Recap" podcast, but she tells Sadie that her own reading through the Bible didn't start out as a great adventure and in fact, she felt more despair and had more questions than she'd ever had about God. Once a pastor friend encouraged her to try again and offered to answer any questions, her motivation FOR reading the Scriptures changed along with her strategy each day. Now she spends the majority of her time encouraging fellow believers as they start their own Bible reading journeys — and she couldn't be happier. Tara-Leigh says she just fell in love with the Lord, but it didn't happen until she shifted in the reason WHY she was reading the Bible and she challenges us all to start reading the Bible today - now! "Every day you're in God's Word you're right on time" so stop making excuses and get in the Word!  This Episode of WHOA That's Good is Sponsored by: https://everylife.com — Get 10% off your first order when you use promo code WHOA at checkout! https://drinkag1.com/whoa — Get a FREE 1-year supply of Vitamin D3+K2 AND 5 free AG1 Travel Packs with your first subscription! https://www.hungryroot.com/whoa — Get 40% OFF your first delivery and FREE veggies for life! - Learn more about your ad choices. It's Katherine Wolf's first time on the podcast and Sadie can't wait to introduce you to her (if you didn't know about her already!). After a life-altering stroke at the age of 26, why does Katherine call herself "a big fan of the good, hard life?" Katherine found a life-transforming hope in Jesus when she almost died and she wants to share it with everyone because we all are going through hard things! As Katherine says, no one can tell YOU how to feel about your own story — that's something you get to decide and she almost had to die to truly find this life-altering hope. Sadie and Katherine talk about the importance of showing up for friends and family in especially hard circumstances and why not knowing what to say is okay! After this conversation, we know you're going to feel lighter and more hopeful about what's currently going on in your life. We can do this hard life because we are NOT alone — we have Jesus and we have each other! Fresh off hosting the K-LOVE Fan Awards — and winning her 2nd Podcast Impact Award! — Sadie's cooking and wants to share what's been on her heart recently: namely, good things take time and the power of being planted. It's so easy to be frustrated when we think we've been planting good seeds, putting in good and God-glorifying work, but our hopes and dreams aren't coming to fruition. Sadie wants to encourage us to not fall into the temptation of getting angry or frustrated with God, but evaluate the kinds of work - the kinds of seeds - we're doing and planting. Are they meant to only impress? Or to prosper for generations to come? Plus, Sadie reveals an amazing way God has surprised her 10 years later after thinking she'd closed the door on an opportunity forever!  This Episode of WHOA That's Good is Sponsored by: https://give.cru.org/good or text GOOD to 71326 — Get a free copy of Sadie and Christian's new book "How to Put Love First" with your monthly gift! https://www.covenanteyes.com/sadie — Try Covenant Eyes FREE for 30 days with promo code WHOA. https://drinkag1.com/whoa — Get a FREE 1-year supply of Vitamin D3+K2 AND 5 free AG1 Travel Packs with your first subscription! - Learn more about your ad choices. As a nurse during the COVID-19 pandemic, Tay has come face-to-face with burnout, stress and post-traumatic stress disorder, but she passes on several helpful bits of advice and techniques to battle mental health trials. Sadie and Jeanine Amapola have a lot of shared experiences, but one big one is they have both been called hypocrites by a trusted, loving person in their lives. That's never an easy thing to hear, of course, but in both cases ... it was dead-on! Jeanine says her lack of a strong identity set her on a course of toxic relationships, insecurity, and self-doubt, but when she finally surrendered to God and spent good, pure time with Him and in His Word, her confidence in who she is in Christ blossomed! And Sadie and Jeanine candidly share about their first exposures to pornography and how they were able to break free from any hold it had on their lives. Plus, Jeanine shares why she encourages anyone to not wait until you're "ready" to start over with God. Start now, start today — you won't regret it! Sadie has known Luis Matos for a long time, first meeting him in the Dominican Republic at an orphanage where he lived when he was 10 and she was 9. They really did “grow up like siblings” as Sadie and her family continued to visit the DR as much as they could and now many years later, Luis, his wife Brittany, and their son A.J. live in Louisiana right next to the Robertsons and Luis and Bella just graduated from Liberty University too! Luis shares how for most of his life, he didn’t have a birth certificate which prevented him from being able to travel — and get legally married — but he always knew his identity was in Christ. You’ll love this conversation and you’ll be amazed at the goodness of God as you hear Luis and Brittany’s story and always remember: God’s timing is perfect!  This Episode of WHOA That's Good is Sponsored by: https://www.hungryroot.com/whoa — Get 40% OFF your first delivery and FREE veggies for life! https://give.cru.org/good or text GOOD to 71326 — Get a free copy of Sadie and Christian's new book "How to Put Love First" with your monthly gift! https://liberty.edu/Sadie — Get your application fee WAIVED when you start your future with Liberty University today! - Learn more about your ad choices. Sadie loves nothing more than talking about the Lord and His Word with her dad — and as it happens Willie Robertson just wrote a book all about sharing the Gospel with others! Willie is here to set the record straight: reading the Bible and studying about God is not a gift, so stop letting that be your excuse for why you can't talk with people about the Gospel! As Willie puts it: if you know the hope of heaven you should be sharing it with others! Pastor and author MattChandler joins Sadie, and they dive right in to what it means to be made in the image of God. We hear the phrase a lot (especially at women's conferences, right?), but what does it mean for us as we live in the world every day? And what does it mean for the way we do life with others? Matt and Sadie discuss why God's wrath isn't rage but an incredible demonstration of LOVE. Plus, is community something you crave but have trouble with? You're not alone! Matt shares why failure to be vulnerable to other believers robs you of the opportunity to experience grace in a tangible way, so start investing in community right where you are! God made us and appointed us to be alive at this exact moment and THAT is exciting news. We can be a part of shining the Light of the Gospel right where we are, but it starts by saying "yes" to Jesus. Get your copy of Matt's book "The Overcomers" anywhere you get your books. Sadie sits down with her long-time friend Lindsay Neely to talk about Lindsay and her husband’s recent achievement of becoming totally debt-free. Sadie is SO impressed by the discipline and commitment Lindsay and her family showed to get to this amazing season in their lives and emphasizes that money can be a way to grow your trust in the Lord. Lindsay encourages everyone to look at their finances with the guidance of Jesus in mind, and Sadie has an incredible gift for Lindsay at the end of the show!  This Episode of WHOA That's Good is Sponsored by: https://www.auraframes.com/whoa — Get $30 off Aura’s best-selling frames when you use code WHOA at checkout! https://www.trymiracle.com/whoa — Get 40% off + 3 FREE towels with code WHOA at checkout! https://drinkag1.com/whoa — Get a FREE 1-year supply of Vitamin D3+K2 AND 5 free AG1 Travel Packs with your first purchase! - Learn more about your ad choices. Author and pastor Steven Furtick is here to say "just do you" is an OK thing to say to someone when they're trying out a new hairstyle or outfit but NOT when it's about how they're choosing to live their life. It's not about living "your truth" but THE truth — something Steven remembers from a sermon Sadie preached. Steven challenges us to shift our mindset and be ready to become who God made us to be: "Do the new you!" Steven's book, "Do the New You," is available now. Bringing your family's story to the big-screen is something Sadie is all too familiar with and she's delighted to host Joel and Luke Smallbone (for KING & COUNTRY) and their sister Rebecca St. James in the studio for a very special conversation about their new movie, "Unsung Hero." Joel directed and starred in the film — playing his dad! — but he shares why it was so important to not shy away from the hard parts of his dad's story. Sadie points out why seeing a dad say they're "sorry" to their child is so powerful. Rebecca says we should all trust God to redeem our stories, no matter what we've experienced or gone through! And Luke remembers his mom often telling him that learning to overcome disappointment is a good thing, especially true for kids! It's Honey's first time on the podcast and the timing couldn't be better since she's VERY excited about her upcoming birthday party. Christian gives us a sneak peek of his Mayor Humdinger that will be making an appearance at the party and Honey tries to decide if she'll be dressing as a princess or Skye. Haven checks in with her parents too while navigating a big case of the hiccups. (y'all are going to want to watch this on YouTube —it's too adorable!) Sadie and Christian share how their year has been so far and what they're learning as parents of an almost-three year old and almost-one year old. Christian talks about his recent trip to Israel and Sadie shares some big growth moments she experienced while he was away.  This episode of Whoa That's Good is sponsored by: https://www.covenanteyes.com/sadie — Try Covenant Eyes FREE for 30 days with promo code WHOA. https://www.auraframes.com/whoa — Get $30 off Aura’s best-selling frames when you use code WHOA at checkout! https://drinkag1.com/whoa — Get a FREE 1-year supply of Vitamin D3+K2 AND 5 free AG1 Travel Packs with your first purchase! - Learn more about your ad choices. As Sadie puts it, Jess Connolly is your new "best friend" who is here to encourage us ALL that being a woman in 2024 is exhausting. It is! And it's easy to start wearing the "I'm tired" badge with pride — even, like Jess, thinking we're more godly because of it! — when it's probably the last thing we should be doing. Jess talks about finding herself at her publisher's office pitching a book about being tired when she was as close to complete burnout and a breakdown as she'd ever been. But through doing a deep dive on what "tired" really means — and what God meant when He said, "Come to Me all who are weary" — she discovered a wealth of knowledge about how we navigate exhaustion and WHY we're all so tired (it's not always because we need sleep!). Sadie and her new friend, Devin Cordle, are talking about SO much in this episode — and laughing a lot together too: motherhood, pregnancy brain, being an influencer, and so much more. By speaking to Devin for only a few minutes, you'll hear how much the Lord is the center of her life and how putting God FIRST in her relationship ended up saving it. Devin and Sadie are both striving to raise little disciples for Jesus and want to encourage ALL parents to keep up the good fight!  This episode of Whoa That's Good is sponsored by: https://give.cru.org/good or text GOOD to 71326 — Get a free copy of Sadie and Christian's new book "How to Put Love First" with your monthly gift! https://drinkag1.com/whoa — Get a FREE 1-year supply of Vitamin D3+K2 AND 5 free AG1 Travel Packs with your first purchase! https://www.trymiracle.com/whoa — Get 40% off + 3 FREE towels with code WHOA at checkout! Sadie met a new friend and was so inspired by her story she wanted to share it with everyone! Joy Caisee and her husband, Clay, practice radical hospitality by loving and serving guests at their short-term rental properties. Joy worked for years in a corporate job after being a stay-at-home mother, but her heart kept pulling her to love on and care for people all around her and eventually she was able to make that her full-time occupation — and ministry! Sadie and Joy talk about waiting seasons and how those chapters in life are preparing us for what the NEXT chapter will be. On Fire For God!

I will say the part about your family not liking your spouse isn't always a sign/red flag. My family didn't know God at the time I met the one God wanted me with. They didn't like him for years for all of the wrong reasons...he had no money and was young so didn't have much motivation. But he grew up and is a great man of God now! And they like him, 15 years later!

Sadie. I've been truly blessed by all of your work that you've done in the Lord. He has blessed my life through you. I am encouraged and uplifted by your life and how you've lived it. Just know that God is using you for his exact purposes, one of them was to be here for me and speak into my life during times when I needed it most. Stay the course! In Him....your sister, -Amber.
