Lysa TerKeurst's life has completely changed in the last few years and she's here to pass on her learnings to us, specifically about broken trust. Lysa tells Sadie she's identified 11 big red flags in unhealthy relationships and helps us think through and recognize if it's a flag, a pattern, or a one-off mistake. And how can we pinpoint why we suddenly feel uneasy in any given situation? Is it a result of broken trust in our past? And how can we heal it? Lysa also shares how her life has changed in the past few years — from discovering her husband's double life, to divorce, and how she met her new husband, Chaz. Earl McClellan would be the first to admit he doesn't get things right all the time, but he tells Sadie how he's learned how to trust God and step out with confidence into what the Lord was calling him to do. And he's here to encourage us ALL how we can identify where we might shy away from following God's leading — whether it's with anxiety, worry, negative self-talk or fear — how can believers learn to do things afraid? As Earl says, "Do it and dont' wait for the fear to be gone!" and, "If it doesn't take faith, it's probably not from God!" Shouldn't we all want to step into our potential to glorify God in whatever it is we've been prompted to do? The couples explore what it’s like to be married to someone who’s on television and the difficulties that come along with it. Will and Reece were blessed to have help from an older couple who mentored them, and Sadie is proud of their boldness for Jesus on camera and in a difficult industry. Reece surprises Sadie revealing how long she's been a fan and follower, the role that Sadie's "Live Original" message played in Reece's life and career so far, anxiety in auditions, fighting against comparison games, how two people pleasers find themselves in the spotlight, modesty, what the DCC uniform means to Reece, and if she and her fellow cheerleaders really ARE friends in the midst of competition? Nona Jones brings a word in today's episode where she candidly shares with Sadie about her incredibly traumatic and abusive childhood. Nona talks about being told she was unwanted by her mom and how she was forced back into an abusive situation with her mom's live-in boyfriend — but how she's learned, with God's help, to work through the overwhelming feelings of rejection she's experienced. Rejection IS painful — we all experience it in different ways — but what lessons can we learn from it too? As Nona says, "Pain is just the wrapping paper" and encourages us to dig deep and observe our thoughts and why we react to situations and words the way we do. Nona's book, "The Gift of Rejection" is available anywhere you buy your books!  This episode of WHOA That's Good is brought to you by: https://www.drinklmnt.com/whoa — Get a FREE LMNT Sample Pack with any LMNT purchase! https://www.trymiracle.com/whoa — Get 40% off + 3 FREE towels with code WHOA at checkout! https://liberty.edu/Sadie — Get your application fee WAIVED when you start your future with Liberty University today! - Learn more about your ad choices. Brittany Martin and Alyson Owen tell Sadie they're glad to be in a more girl-friendly studio than their husbands' podcast (Duck Call Room) and here today to talk about their lives before and after they fully surrendered to the Lord. For Brittany, Sadie's podcast was the turning point for her when she happened to select the Joyce Meyer interview and heard a story so similar to her own. And Alyson's decision to follow God wholeheartedly ultimately led to Brittany's decision to be baptized. The common bond is the power of vulnerability and how it truly revolutionized their marriages, their families — even their approach to social media!  This Episode of WHOA That's Good is Sponsored by: http://www.dreamlandbabyco.com — Use code WHOA for the sitewide BUY ONE GET ONE FREE deal today! https://ariseforwomen.com — Get this 21-day video series from Covenant Eyes completely FREE! https://sadiepens.com — Stock up on Mr. Pen Bible journaling supplies today! - Learn more about your ad choices. TAYA Gaukrodger's life has changed a lot since the last time she joined Sadie - she's given birth to a beautiful boy, she and her family are now living in the United States, and she's learned a lot about how to process church hurt in an emotionally and spiritually healthy way. TAYA speaks about her unique experience when you are a public representative — even the face of — a church that is going through a difficult time and how, despite the frustration and hurt, she still loves the global Church and is excited to serve in and alongside her new church community. Then Sadie and TAYA discuss times when they've felt burned out and why it's not just "being busy" — and what they both did to heal and be restored. Y'all settle in for a fun, lovely, loving, and vulnerable conversation with Sadie, her sister-in-law Maia, and her cousin-in-law Blakely. Blakely and Maia both share their stories of when their relationship with God truly began: Maia's was after a breakup and a vicious spiral of shame and depression, and Blakely says she came to a crossroads with God and was tired of being a lukewarm believer! While their stories are quite different, you'll be encouraged and blessed to hear how God was — and is — working and leading in their lives. Both women came to a point where they knew they needed to be all in with the Lord — and if you're at that point, keep going! Jump in! Then they tackle finding community in different seasons and places. Maia's life with Chance (Christian's brother) in Minor League baseball means moving a lot, and she has a bunch of ways to encourage you to be invited and do the inviting when it comes to meeting new people. Blakely has great advice on navigating long distance friendships and remembering that giving grace to others is so important, and Sadie reminds us to always assume the best of one another!  This Episode of WHOA That's Good is Sponsored by: https://www.trymiracle.com/whoa — Get 40% off + 3 FREE towels with code WHOA at checkout! https://www.12vc.com/sister — Commit to the 12 Verse Challenge and help fund 12 Verses of Scripture a year for people who have little to no access to Scripture! https://hungryroot.com/whoa — Get 40% off your first delivery and free veggies for life. - Learn more about your ad choices. Christian Huff's brother, Chance, makes his WTG debut in this very fun — and funny! — conversation. What did Chance think of Sadie when they first met? How is he enjoying married life? And how much does he love playing Minor League baseball? Chance shares why he's making the most of this season of waiting. Christian remembers the very tough conversation he knew he needed to have with Chance when he saw that his life was not honoring the Lord — and how Chance initially responded. And Christian and Chance answer some of your questions about intentionality in dating, tough conversations you need to have with your significant other, and why they believe their family is and has stayed so close.  To Donate to Hurricane Helene Relief Efforts : https://www.samaritanspurse.org/ This Episode of WHOA That's Good is Sponsored by: https://everylife.com — Get 10% off your first order when you use promo code WHOA at checkout! https://sadiepens.com — Stock up on Mr. Pen Bible journaling supplies today! https://drinkag1.com/whoa — Get a FREE bottle of Vitamin D3K2 and TEN free AG1 Travel Packs with your first purchase ! - Learn more about your ad choices. They answer questions about the best pieces of advice EVER, what to do when you don’t feel like working on your faith, where boldness in the Lord comes from, and more. On Fire For God!

I will say the part about your family not liking your spouse isn't always a sign/red flag. My family didn't know God at the time I met the one God wanted me with. They didn't like him for years for all of the wrong reasons...he had no money and was young so didn't have much motivation. But he grew up and is a great man of God now! And they like him, 15 years later!

Sadie. I've been truly blessed by all of your work that you've done in the Lord. He has blessed my life through you. I am encouraged and uplifted by your life and how you've lived it. Just know that God is using you for his exact purposes, one of them was to be here for me and speak into my life during times when I needed it most. Stay the course! In Him....your sister, -Amber.
