Ithaca College, among a couple of other school’s on the east coast were invited to go to the White House to celebrate World College Radio Day. They were able to hear from multiple different representatives from the White House and even received a tour of the Eisenhower Executive Building and the Press Room. May is celebrated every year as Bike Month, and Bike Walk Tompkins, an organisation that works to make Ithaca and Tompkins county a community that is safe and convenient to walk, bike and roll in, organise bike month events. Kai Linke had the opportunity learn about them
On tonight’s show, we are going to hear from Malcolm Alexander, who had the opportunity to talk to members of climate activism organisation, Extinction rebellion. Then, we are going to hear from VIC’s 50 hour marathon DJs to see how their experience has been.
