Invitation to intimacy with God.
In this episode, I share about the shaking that's coming, and already here. Only the things of God will stand tall and strong. Only the holy, the righteous, the just, and the pure things that are of God are the only things that will remain. All the things of the enemy, the world, and the flesh will crumble and fall.
In this episode I share the importance of knowing and remembering what Jesus did for us by willingly being beaten, shamed, crucified, and then then dying for us. But more importantly, realizing that Jesus didn't just die for us. But that He also arose again, and He is still alive. He ascended to heaven to sit at God the Father's right hand, and to sit on His throne in heaven where He rules and reigns. We must remember that just because Jesus is in heaven, He is still with us in Spirit. Because He sent His Holy Spirit to come and dwell in His people, which is the Spirit of Christ. And His Spirit leads and guides us, His Spirit helps us make right decisions, and His Spirit convicts us of our sin when we do things we shouldn't. His Holy Spirit is what allows Him to be everywhere all at once, all the time.
In this episode I have a guest on my podcast. A good friend of mine, and brother in Christ, Greg Seay. I share a little about how Greg and I met, and Greg shares his testimony about when he had his heart attack. And Greg shares about what was going on in his life prior to the heart attack, and how it positively affected his life afterward, and the impact of what he learned had on him after the fact of the heart attack.
In this episode I share about how important it is to wait on the Lord. That we a lot of times are impatient and don't like to wait on things. And we need to think back on all the times we rejected the Lord, and He had to wait on us to wise up and see the error of our ways. We definitely shoudn't have a problem with waiting on the Lord once and a while.
In this episode, I share about how important it is to be yielded to the Holy Spirit. So that way, we will recognize the importance of when we have a defining moment in our life. We don't want to miss the opportunity of a defining moment in our life, because it could be a life changing situation that could make our lives better if we're yielded and surrendered to God.
This episode is intended to be an update of some upcoming changes to my podcast. For some of you this may affect how you listen to my podcast, but for others it may not change anything at all. I share my new email address with the listeners that I specifically created for my podcast. That way people can keep in touch and share how much the podcast means to them.
In this episode I share about how important it is to be able to recognize our brokenness before God, and lean on Him, and call on Him even in the midst of the storm. And also, that when we are experiencing a rough time in our life, as we praise the Lord during these times it will build up our faith in the Lord and the things unseen.
In this episode I share about how important it is to be surrendered to God, and to lean on God for all of our cares and needs. We need to sometimes step out in faith, and just trust in the Lord that He will not reject us, and that He accepts us just the way wr are. That does not mean that we are supposed to continue living the same way after our conversion. We should not be willfully sinning after conversion. We do however make mistakes, and sometimes slip up in sin, but we are to immediately confess our sin, and repent, and turn from our sin and walk the other way, and turn toward God.
In this episode I share about how important it is to be patient, and pay close attention to God and listen to what He says. We need to listen to the songs of victory that God is singing over us, and we need to latch on to how God is trying to encourage us, and motivate us, because if we do, God will light a fire in us that can't be quenched by the enemy.
In this episode I share about how important it is to realize that not only will we be saved and spend eternity with God when we surrender to Him, but we will also reign with Him. God is preparing us to Reign with Him for all eternity!
In this episode I share about some thoughts and ideas that were mentioned in the previous episode that I felt needed to be clarified.
In this episode I share about how important it is to surrender to God, and be yielded to Him so that He can shape and mold us into what He wants us to be. He is the Potter and we are the clay, and we need to be willing to Let God Fashion us in to the Man or woman of God that He has called us to be.
In this episode I share about the importance of the King's Scepter. I also shared some insights of the story of Esther and the importance of not staying silent in this hour! For if you stay silent in this hour your people, and you and your household will perish! When the Lord Almighty lays something on your heart and gives you something to say, it needs to be said, or we could be quenching the Holy Spirit and hindering what the Spirit wants to accomplish!
In this episode I share about how important it is to not have a poor attitude when we serve God. How very easy it is to have the wrong attitude when things don't seem to go the way we think they should. We should have joy in our hearts as we serve God, and love our God, and love our neighbors as we love ourselves. It's very rewarding to serve our Lord with gladness in our hearts, because we want to do what's right in the sight of the Lord.
In this episode I share about how important it is to stay surrendered to God, and walk close with God so that we won't have to wonder, or question if we are experiencing God's favor.
In this episode I share a lot of scripture to show some of the different points of view and angles about things that we sometimes deal with in certain situations that are all uniquely connected to when we are commissioned to pray. I also share how important it is to answer that call that God places on all believers to pray for the lost. We all should minister to the lost, and help the hurting and broken people in this world to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We all need to experience God's magnificent love, and learn to walk in intimacy with God.
In this episode I share about how awesome God's lovingkindness is, and how God is slow to anger. I also share about how it is good for us as well to be slow to anger, and exhibit self-control, which is a fruit of the Spirit, and the Lord will bless us. I also shared about whether we are on God's mountain top, having a mountain top experience, or if we are in the valley going through the trenches, God is with us wherever we go, and He always wants us to lean on Him, and trust and depend on Him. God always wants us to be looking for Him, so we can see Him at all times in the midst of our storms. If we don't see God, and we don't feel His presence, it's not because God has stepped away from us. He is right beside us where He has always been. If we don't see, and feel God's presence in our life, it's because we are being too distracted by the circumstances of the situation in our life. Never fear, God has not forsaken us. Even when things seem bad, this too shall pass, behold, joy comes in the morning!
In this episode I share about how important it is to remember that no matter how far we have strayed and wandered away from God, He is right there waiting with His arms stretched wide waiting to receive us back into fellowship with Him. I also shared about how there is no sinner that can't be forgiven by God Almighty. If you have a willingness within your heart to want to repent and be forgiven, then the Lord can forgive you. It's just a matter of asking Him to. I shared some personal life experiences when I said to the Lord, Lord, Your Blood Redeems me!
In this episode I share about how important it is to realize some of the things that come with waiting on the Lord. Things like, we need to know that God does preserve us, and He watches over and protects us when we surrender to Him, and He comforts us when we lean on Him when we are having a hard time with difficult situations in our life. I also shared how when we depend on God He can empower us with boldness through His Spirit. And when we are in times of when we need to operate in boldness, sometimes there is a certain amount of fear that comes up as well. But that we must remember that God has not given us a Spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. And then there is the good fear that we all must have. It's that reverent fear of the Lord. This is the kind of fear that allows you to honor and respect God for who He is, which is God Almighty, King of kings, and He truly is the Beginning and the End. God is so awesome and mighty, He spoke everything into existence. He spoke the first word, and He will have the last word.
