This week, we channel our inner Keanu Reeves as part of winding down the podcast for the time being. Since we each had a bunch of stuff on our lists left to pitch, we turned each of the last three episodes of the pod into an LA County bus where each one of us gets our own episode and we have a couple minutes to pitch/discuss the rest of the shows or movies on our lists or the pod explodes. This week, we’re releasing another one of the old test pitches that we recorded in November 2020 when we were still trying to figure out the format of the show. In playing around with formats, we tried an episode where we have some random podcast banter up front and then each one of us pitched a show, so you’d end up getting three pitches in one episode. In this test, Scott pitched the show “Floor Is Lava” on Netflix, Dan pitched “Chef’s Table” which is also on Netflix, and then Nayan pitched “90 Day Fiancé” which is on TLC and and Discovery+. This week, we’re doing something a bit different and releasing one of the old test pitches that Nayan did for the show “The Venture Bros.” when we were still trying to figure out the format of the show.
