Welcome back true believers to the latest instalment of your favourite comic book club. In this month's presentation we return to your favourite big green doctor, Dr Robert Bruce Banner. Join your heroes Galactosh and Sleeves as they travel into the wild future and ask the following questions: what is all this future jargon about? How sick is this museum? What do cybernetically conjoined soldiers do in their spare time? And how fetching are naval cut jumpsuits? Find out the answers to these questions and more as they read through The Incredible Hulk: Future Imperfect only on We've got back issues.CreditsThe Hulk created by Stan Lee and Jack KirbyCreative talent: Peter David and George PérezHosts: Galactosh, Sleeves and Michael QuintessonEditing and production: Galactosh and SleevesEpisode art: Guido GuidiMusic and stings: The Vidiprinter Hosted on Acast. So what if instead of The Transformers snoozing right through to the 1980s they'd woken up around a hundred years earlier? What if they all went a little Steam Punk? What if they meet John Henry and Mark Twain? What if it was all steam trains and biplanes? What if over the course of a four issue mini series the plot quite literally careers off the rails and into a ravine? We answer all these questions and more in the latest episode of We've Got Back Issues where Galactosh, Sleeves and special guest Michael Quintesson discuss The Transformers: Hearts of Steel from IDW Publishing. Welcome back dear listeners as you join your heroes on a journey straight to hell itself. Follow your hosts as they make the most perilous journey through middle America to hunt down the son of Marvels (not the) 'devil' Mephisto and uncover the nefarious plot of his 'son' blackheart to take down him down. Only wolverine, Ghost Rider and, obviously the Punisher, can take him down. Bear witness as your favourite podcast tried to answer the questions only it can! Such as; Why can't Punisher see what's right in front of him? Is a pencil moustache a valid aid fool-proof disguise? Why does blackheart like Ghost Riders bike so much? And is this episode too short?Listen as these questions and more are mostly answered as Sleeves and Galactosh read Marvels "Hearts of Darkness".CreditsGhost Rider created by Roy Thomas, Gary Friedrich and Mike PloogGhost Rider (Danny Ketch) created by Howard Mackie and Javier SaltaresWolverine created by Len Wein, John Romita Sr and Herb TrimpePunisher created by Gerry Conway, John Romita Sr and Ross AndruCreative talent: Howard Mackie, John Romita Jr and Klaus JansonHosts: Galactosh and SleevesEditing and production: Galactosh and SleevesEpisode art: John Romita JrMusic and stings: The Vidiprinter Hosted on Acast. Time to (temporarily) break from our love affair with the 1990s, delve into the previous decade and visit a character Galactosh really does not care for, a book he's never heard of, but one Sleeves has been meaning to read for ages. DC's Green Arrow... is basically robin hood right? Well, hopefully we can answer that as we read and discuss the book that reinvented him for the modern age and launch hes very first solo title. A story of drugs smuggling rackets, rogue CIA agents, serial killers, Yakuza Assassins, Iranian arms deal, and coked up fish! And maybe even a love story about two heroic love birds, a guy who dresses like 'Robin' Hood and a gal that calls herself Black 'Canary'. Join us as we read Green Arrow: The Longbow Hunters.CreditsGreen Arrow created by Mort Weisinger and George PappCreative talent: Mike Grell, Lurene Haines and Julia LacquementHosts: Galactosh and SleevesEditing and production: Galactosh and SleevesEpisode art: Mike GrellMusic and stings: The Vidiprinter Hosted on Acast.
